Merry Christmas 2023(Gail Moore) Well hi there folks,
It’s Christmas Eve in NZ today. I’m tucked up in bed and done all I can do to make the world a better place.
Gifted a child / orphan a Christmas gift , tick
Boxes of gifts to the neighbours, tick
Phoned people that I think may need a hello and merry Christmas, tick
Gifted money to a young lady that shaved her hair off to help a cancer patient, tick
Given a few bob to the blind man that plays the flute, not good but to me he’s perfect. Tick
Bought gifts from the local market to keep these people in business.

I’m thankful I have family around to share this Christmas with Shane and I.
The year didn’t start off too good with Shane having 6 rounds of chemotherapy. We got through this awful time as a family.
Thankfully we have him around for another year.
Thankful to our kids and grandkids that made us laugh and helped us through the year. Even with a few tears.
Thankful for the friends that helped us through an endless supply of coffee catch ups. Jo and Dave , Sharon and Dave . You are legends
Thankful To storystar for putting up with a load of stories that probably should never have been published.
Thankful for Everything I publish I question, then a whole lot of folk say nice things and I feel okay again.
Thankful we have a table full of Christmas food, even if I do put on a few kgs

So here I am tucked up in bed thinking about a few very special people on storystar and wanting to say.
You made my year with your accomplishments Kevin Hughes, Martin Green who although was heartbroken at losing his beautiful wife Beverly kept up his writing. To Aziz Achibane for your lovely thoughts,
Julie this genius for keeping this group together even though your year was not the best.
You are a rock star and we are blessed to have you.

So there has not been any time for listening to any Christmas music.
I’ve got the top 100 Christmas songs a playing. Can you picture me dancing around the bedroom. Please don’t.
It’s going to rain with thunder storms tomorrow so it’s an indoor Christmas for us.
Oh and thanks Briar for telling nana she is a garden genius but don’t know how to do housework, poppa does it better.
