The day we split paths, really hurt
We couldn’t get through the problems like we thought we could
We couldn’t put each other first
We didn’t know if we were the right or the wrong, or if we were bad or good

Were we good for each other? Were we bad for each other?
That’s a question I ask myself constantly
When I think back on the times of when we imagined forever
Or were we only ever just a dream? A picture perfect, fake fantasy?
Were we only ever imaginary?
Was it fate that brought us together to meet?

What if we never met?
There would be no pain? Would there be a gain?
I gained so much from you
It hurts that I’m not yours, I still deny the truth

What if we were still together?
What if I really am your forever?
What if we never grew apart, stayed together in the end after the middle and start
