Mary On March Eve

"sell your old instruments, machines, books, Papers and note books"  The old man chanting through the alley. The noise of motorcycle began to raise and crossed the alley. " It is time to wake up" the Mary's mom screamed.Mary and Zainab were lying closely to eachother. "Wake up Mary" mom shouted again. After a shock Mary woke up and opened her eyes in a noisy, disrupting and stunning day; her all sleeping time was a nightmare, arguing with brother's wife.

The day Masoomah (her brother's wife) joined their family as a bride, the home became a jail for Mary and Zainab,
Beside their schooling they had to work as a carpet weaver. They had a simple ordinary life; republican regime in Afghanistan was a great golden time to grow, doing their studies, listening to musics as they were weaving the carpet ; on Fridays they had to go bazar to do the shopping, the marketplace seemed so crowd and every where a simple life was running.

Daily lives in Kabul seemed easy but still got so many challenges in getting job. Mary and her two sisters had to weave carpet since childhood, now when they were teenagers, they mastered the carpet weaving skills, they had to work half days; weaving it. After completing the carpet weaving, the owner paying them a very low cost but still they were happy. Most of time the owner coming to their home accompanied by an American businesswoman and an Afghan translator,
Mary had learned a few English words; greeting and welcoming them. Mary looking at that American businesswoman, daydreaming and fantasising herself in US!
having her black tourist glasses walking on Whitehouse sights and gardens, but she was so far from what she was daydreaming about. The present life in Kabul made her a depressed one, where she was looking for sympathy and love outside because it was not existed in her home.

Mary's hope to find someone hugging and kissing her affiliated with Sami.
It was a Thursday morning Mary had to repair her broken cellphone; she had to go in cellphone repair shop, entering the shop she met Sami, Sami was not only a cellphone technician but a gang and girl trafficker, though Mary was not aware of any case about Sami; greeted and welcomed her in to his shop, he repaired her cellphone and asked for Mary's phone number, Mary thought it was necessary for repairing the cellphone.

One night later Mary received love messages and romantic poems by Sami in Watsap; They were falling in love in a conservative society, Mary had several affaires and romances with Sami.

The Days were passing, Mary and Sami had their usual secret relationship it unclsed when a Monday Afternoon, Mary had to prepare the launch and forgot to take her cellphone with her and it was ringing; Ibrahim his brother caught the phone and answered, soon he found that her sister is in a relationship with someone, seeing the Mary " what the hell are you doing ?" He shouted  " he is my classmte" replied with a broken voice , Ibrahim throw away the phone and warned Mary that if she repeates the same action again she will not be here anymore,  After that Ibrahim always was curious about Mary; asking everyday about what she is doing outside. For a while Mary was not able to see Sami . But it happened in the first coming day of March Exactly at #March_Eve in the bazar she meets Sami, he forced Mary to be one night with her Mary was in delimma to accept or deny but finally she accepted and spent one night with Sami!.
In the morning she found that she made the biggest mistake of her life; knowing already that there will be no place for her in brother's house. She lost her family and was simply disowned by her brother.

Now the situation was the worst challenging; Mary had no place to stay or live, she was obliged to gain again with Sami but he also had no place to get her.
His family was much more conservative than Mary's family but Sami did help her to get out of the country with an unknown destination and purpose. He helped Mary to get in Dubai as a sex worker! Entering the Dubai seemed a luxurious and beautiful one but she was not free to enjoy its beauty she was owned by someone as a sex worker in daily routine.
That slavery life ended when she managed to escape and called the police, the police took her to a sheltering house, prepared by UNHCR and the resettled in Australia.
Now when got a new and a happy life She is feeling regret for the Mary who fell in love on March Eve! the darkest part of her life...
