Varytan
An intelligent and cocky descendent with virtues/talents to manipulate gravity. He is a young Easterner with a flavor for the old west. He brings hard justice to the dangerous criminals who devastate our world. Sometimes thought as conceited and brutish, but a skilled man neither the less. Varytan’s results justify the means in his book. He continues to fight the fight as a member of the Virtulent Legion.

President of Tatarstan- “My Russian brothers and sisters. Today I pledge to rid out the underground criminals “The Drudge” who are trying to take away your right to live in our beloved Kazan. We all are affected by these criminals who are destroying our way of life. They are like a plague. My own cousin's farm was overtaken by them for some time. We fought back and won. I will do the same for you, for our city, for our future! We must do it together. Report to us if they have violated your rights to live free.”

Troika is the leader of the Drudge terrorist mafia that are opposing Russian rule. He is three parts of a whole. Three natural ascendents. Troika has the ability to shift from one person to three. His genetics replicated three times as a fetus in fetu. Some of their abilities include hyper immune system and replication of cells, pain tolerance and synchronicity telepathy. Their quick healing and telepathy allows them to bond mentally and physically together. Troika became the leader of the Drudge after his town was overtaken by the Russian Mafia “OPG''. Troika sought revenge after many of his friends and family were killed, imprisoned, or trafficked by them. After they defeated the OPG, a movement was started. The movement grew and became known as the Drudge. They believe the strong should rule the weak. What you take is yours. Earning is by force and natural selection.

The Drudge only took over cities or principalities that were controlled by OPG. They wanted to bring freedom to the oppressed but that changed once they gained power. The Drudge became the oppressor. Some of the OPG cities were loyal to Russia. Russia cooperated with the OPG as long as they were given taxes and ensured stability. The OPG provided protection, organization, and political ties. Russia stopped receiving the taxes and logistical support from cities taken over by the Drudge. Under OPG rule they did. Since resources were halted an investigation was started by the Russian Federation. Agent Dimitri Ivanov of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and his team started the investigation in Yoshkar-Ola. Agent Ivanov tells his team to be careful. The Grudge integrates with the population hiding and only reveal themselves when it is too late. 17 FSB agents have been killed investigating the Grudge in the past.

The paper factory in Yoshkar-Ola stopped providing shipments to the Russian Government. The paper factory was taken over by the Drudge. The Drudge often found other identities to buy their resources after they controlled the companies. This had a twofold effect. The first is it weakened the Russian Government by not having the resources. The second is the Drudge was increasing their monetary gains. The paper factory made deals supplying Austria and India with paper. The FSB go to the paper factory and encounter the Grudge Terrorist. A gun battle ensues and the Grudge Terrorist surrender. They Grudge prisoners are questioned. They reveal that the Grudge is more sophisticated than the Russian Federation believed. With the successful capture of Grudge Terrorists and liberating Yoshkar-Ola Ivanov is promoted. He is given the title of Commander and a larger task force aimed at eradicating the Grudge.



Commander Ivanov receives several spy and other intelligence sources reporting that the Grudge has grown and has a secret weapon. Intelligence Specialists interpret many photos and videos revealing a sophisticated terrorist group. The reports are confirmed by Russian Intelligence Specialist and other independent reconnaissance teams. Commander Ivanov reports the findings to the Russian Judiciary Committee. The Minister Of Defense asked “What do you need”? Ivanov responds “I don’t know. I am just giving you a report of what I am dealing with. When I know what is needed, I will tell you.” Ambassador Alyona Kuznteso follows Ivanov and tells him he is not alone. She shakes his hand and passes a note that was cuffed in her palm. Ivanov reads the note “It is not safe to talk here. Meet me in 30 minutes at 713 Arbat St. Ivanov sends messages to his team he has a second meeting at 713 Arbat St. He requests one agent to follow him to the location as backup.

Alyona -"You can’t win with the resources you have."

Ivanov-"How do you know?"

Alyona-"How much do you know about Ascendents?"

Ivanov-"They are a myth. People with abilities given to them by God."

Alyona-"When you are ready contact me here is my information."

Ivanov-"Wait, can you help me or not? I need to know how you know I can’t be successful."

Alyona begins to walk away. She repeats “When you are ready contact me.” Ivanov looks puzzled and reads the card (Alyona Kuznteso Ambassador Russian Federal Republic). He signals to his back up time to return to base command in Yoshkar-Ola.

Ivanov learns that the Grudge headquarters is located in Kazan. He remembers watching the President of Tatarstan vow to destroy the Grudge after they gained much of the city. He sends word to the Kazan Government that he is on the way. After being briefed and familiar with the Grudge stronghold Ivanov formulates a plan. Ivanov's strategy is to attack them with a small force. A small force can move quickly and surprise the stronghold occupants. His goal is to discover the headquarters location. After finding the headquarters they will strategically neutralize each subbase of the Grudge (logistics, store houses, and factories) until they have no other place to go but the headquarters. They don’t want to destroy the subbasses because they are owned by Russian Citizens. Majority of the Russian Citizens are good and are being coerced to support the Grudge. The first subbase is a grain factory. The grain factory is providing food for the Grudge forces in the city and in a secondary city (Republic of Tatarstan). Three days of surveillance and intelligence reports conclude a Grudge force of 30 members. They surround the building but encounter a glitch in the scheduled deliveries. A convoy of military armored vehicles arrive along with delivery trucks.

Ivanov makes the decision to continue with the planned takeover of the subbase. Intelligence Specialists recommend more surveillance :1. Out of norm schedule actions. 2. Don’t know who or what is inside the MAVs. 3. Rumors are that the Grudge possesses a secret weapon. Ivanov gives the command, and they converge on the factory. They are met with multiple submachine mounted guns. The guns were concealed in the building and were not included in the intelligence reports. The submachines overpower and cause massive losses for the task force. Not wanting to be defeated, Ivanov tries to advance. Out of the fire before him a figure emerges. Troika begins to laugh. He sees Ivanov and three of his agents moving toward him, discharging bullets. Ivanov continues to advance, and Troika tells the submachines not to kill the four-man team. Troika wants to make an example out of them.

Troika runs toward the single stacked four-man team and plows through them like a running back. The men fly backwards from the impact. The men recover and surround Troika telling him to get down on the ground. He doesn’t comply and is hit by a barrage of bullets. Troika doesn’t appear affected. There are bullet wounds and blood, but he stands and smiles at them. He shifts into three people before their eyes. When the three people emerge the bullet wounds are healed and blood ceases to flow. The team shoots again and reloads. Troika uses long korshun knives to stab and slice the team. Troika returns back to one being and grabs the wounded Ivanov. He shakes and shoves him in his grasp and tells him “I know who you are. You only live to go back defeated and to report back to Russia Republic (He Spits In Disgust).”



Ivanov contacts Alyona and tells her he is ready. Alyona tells him he needs Varytan. She explains that Varytan is a Warden. An ascendent with the abilities to manipulate magnetism with psychokinesis. She contacts the IDA (Inquiry Division Agency) and a contract is made exclusively for Varytan in the amount of $150.000 dollars. The Russian Republic voted and approved the contract with limitations. The limitations included 1. Any additional agents provided will only assist Varytan. 2. All the overtaken companies will pledge allegiance to the Russian Republic and resume support. 3. The Grudge will be defeated. The Russian Republic did not want to lose any more agents. They were trying to protect the agents and the Russian Republic reputation. They figured the amount of money paid to Varytan was enough that he would do all the heavy lifting. The news also was reporting defeats and blamed the actions taken by Russian Officials. They could blame Varytan if any defeats occurred now.

Varytan accepts the contract and arrives in Kazan. He read and watched the intelligence reports learning about the Grudge. Intelligence Specialist advise Varytan that Troika returned to their main headquarters in Republic of Tatarstan. Varytan plans to overtake the subbases first and then attack the grain factory. He tells Ivanov that his plan was a good one just lacked the force to carry it out. He taps him on the shoulder. They both laugh, but Ivanov is not so confident. Alyona agrees with the mission and reports the progress to the Russian Republic Cabinet.

Varytan arrives at the first subbase and engages with the Grudge terrorist. He flies over the subbase surveying the site. He takes out the exterior guards using his chakram blades. They orbit around his body protecting him from ammunitions. They slice and incapacitate with minimal noise. He crashes through the roof and takes out the interior terrorist. They question and gain intelligence about the other subbasses and grain factories. They corroborate the information with intelligence reports and take out the subbasses. Next, they surround the main grain factory. Varytan destroys the mounted machine guns.
The Grudge terrorists surrender after the machine guns are destroyed. Majority of the Grudge terrorists fled prior to Varytan arriving after they learned the subbases were taken out. They knew they were no match for Varytan. They fled to the last stronghold controlled by the Grudge, located in the Republic of Tatarstan.


News reports the success of Ivanov and the Russian Republic. Varytan along with the Russian Republic law enforcement force arrive in the Republic Of Tatarstan to end the Grudge Terrorist claim to the region. Troika counterintelligence agents give him the location of Varytan and the Russian Republic Forces. He plans to make another example of Ivanov but this time he will not survive. He disregards Varytan and underestimates his abilities when compared to his. He arrives at the Russian Republic Command Center with cameras and reporters. Several Russian Republic law enforcement officers stand guard with weapons fixed on Troika.

Troika gives a speech trying to convince the views around the world especially in Russia. His speech emphasizes that the Grudge is the answer to the problems Russia has and not the Russian Republic. He speaks about the corrupt government, higher taxes and no respect for the weak, only the strong survive. He proposes one fight to determine defeat or victory. He wants to duel with Varytan for his right to continue the Grudge movement. Varytan accepts under the condition that he wins the Grudge terrorist surrender and all resources vow allegiance to the Russian Republic. He agrees and shifts to three persons with korshuns drawn. Varytan flies and attacks with a vortex magnetic field. All three Troika’s are dropped to the ground. They counterattack by throwing the korshuns at Varytan. He flies quickly dodging the korshuns and controls them with telekinesis magnetism. All three korshuns strike one of the Troikas. The korshuns create three stabs to the chest. The second Troika shoots at Varytan. He uses magnetism to redirect the bullets hitting the third Troika. The second Troika gets hit with a vortex that pushes him into a wall that falls, crushing him. All three Troika’s are incapacitated.

A crowd begins to cheer. The reporters are still recording the battle when Troika reunites his three bodies to one. He shoots a RPG that was mounted on his back at Varytan. The explosion sends Varytan soaring, hitting a bus. Troika laughs and pulls out the three korshuns and flings them at Varytan a second time. Varytan quickly recovers after hearing Alyona screaming for him. He uses magnetism to control the korshuns seconds before they pierce him. He propels them back at Troika. They travel in a spiral cutting a hole in his chest. They cut his ankle tendons dropping him to the ground. Before he can heal Varytan places handcuffs arresting him.

The Grudge terrorists surrender and the Russian Federation claims victory. Alyona and Ivanov assist in transitioning the cities back to alliance with the Russian Federation. Varytan tells Ivanov “Easy Money”. Troika is placed in IDA custody. Varytan is paid for fulfilling the contract. Later that day he receives a message from Sleilo “You need a band aid?” Varytan laughs and responds, “Easy Money”.
