STANDING UP YOURSELF IN COMPLEX WORLD
Born 2002, M, from Andhra pradesh, IndiaIt's hard to know where to begin, but there's one thing I'm certain of no matter how good you are with people, if you're perceived as weak, you'll always face criticism and hostility. Sometimes, it might feel like it's you against a group of people. My advice is to stand up for yourself. Never give up. Stay strong and assertive.
Another piece of advice is to never speak badly about yourself, even in jest. Your body and mind respond to your thoughts, and negative self-talk can make you feel weak and sad. To avoid this, raise your voice and assert your worth. Analyze situations with patience and find solutions as quickly as possible. Be kind to everyone, but not weak. Maintain a balance in how much importance you give to people in your life. If you prioritize someone too much, they may eventually ignore you and make you feel insignificant.
There are also people who will use you, showering you with fake feelings to meet their needs, and then discard you once their requirements are fulfilled. Stay away from these individuals—they are like leeches, clinging to you until they've taken what they need and then leaving you. Protect your heart from such people.
Before forming a friend circle, observe people for a while. Pay attention to their reactions and instincts in various situations, and then make your move. Don't trust people too easily, as there are many toxic individuals out there. Strive to make trustworthy friends, as your social circle significantly impacts your life, either positively or negatively. Ultimately, you will either gain a friend for a life or a lesson for a life. Choose wisely!
