Web of reality
Born 2006, F, from Lahore, PakistanAs she sat on the bench, she gazed longingly at the butterfly flitting about in the air. "If only I could be a butterfly," she thought, "I would soar through the sky, free and unencumbered." She imagined the wind rushing past her, the sun shining down on her wings, and the world spread out before her like a canvas.
As she fantasized, the butterfly's flight became a metaphor for her own desires. She felt trapped, stuck in a life that wasn't hers, longing to break free and explore the world beyond her mundane routine.
But, as she continued to watch, the butterfly's carefree flight came to an abrupt end. It got caught in a spider's web, and in one swift motion, the spider devoured it whole.
She felt a pang of horror and regret, realizing that her romanticized notion of freedom was flawed. Life was fragile, and beauty could quickly turn to brutality.
As she sat there, still gazing at the empty web, she whispered to herself, "Life is a delicate dance between freedom and fragility, beauty and brutality. We must cherish every moment, for it can all be taken away in an instant."

07/25/2024Wow, what a way to explain the nature if life. Sometimes being where you are has a meaning to it and only God knows the reason for that. If we were to be taken somewhere else, we wouldn't survive a day.

07/25/2024Beautifully written. We often look at Butterflies and Birds and dream of the freedom they have. But their lives are short and full of dangers and snares.
