Love is a curse
Born 2006, F, from Lahore, PakistanOnce upon a time in a small village, there lived a young woman named Lily. She believed that love was a curse because every time she fell in love, she ended up getting hurt.
Lily had a kind heart and always gave her all in every relationship, but it seemed like she never found someone who appreciated her the way she deserved. After going through several heartbreaks, Lily decided to shut herself off from love completely. She focused on her work and her hobbies, trying to forget about the pain that love had brought her.
One day, a new neighbor moved in next door to Lily. His name was Jack, and he was charming and kind. Jack tried to befriend Lily, but she kept her distance, afraid of getting hurt again. However, Jack was persistent and continued to show Lily kindness and compassion.
Slowly but surely, Lily began to open up to Jack. She realized that not all love was a curse, and that Jack truly cared for her well-being. They started spending more time together, and Lily found herself falling in love once again.
This time, the love was different. It was pure and genuine, and Lily felt happier than she had ever been. She realized that love wasn't a curse, but a beautiful gift that could bring joy and happiness into her life.
From that day on, Lily embraced love with open arms, knowing that as long as it was true and honest, it could never be a curse. And she lived happily ever after with Jack, grateful for the love that had brought them together.
Remember, love is not a curse, but a blessing that can bring light and happiness into your life.

08/03/2024I liked both the story and the way you developed the plot. Very clear and honest prose. One word of advice: a story like this would benefit from dialogue and more descriptive prose (i.e. describe the characters physically; go into more detail about her feelings; also you can describe the natural physical surroundings such as trees, birds, mountains in the region), etc. Dialogue would also show show the reader how the two lovebirds eventually came together. But all in all, very nice story!!!

08/03/2024One more thing I almost left out: write slowly. Take your time. Patience is the most important quality in creative writing.
