Hate talking to you
Hate laughing with you
I would hate how much you make me care
And hate how much you care for me
I would hate holding your hand and walk
And probably love it when you let go
I would hate how your little smile
Makes my heart beat faster
I would hate how your smallest touch
Makes my heart flutter
I would hate how you make me think
About things I never thought about
I would hate how you make me feel
Things I never thought I could
I would hate how your words keep me up
Tossing and turning all night
I would hate how they cloud my thoughts
And sometimes make the day bright
I would probably love it when you don’t talk to me
Or pretend that you don’t care
Or say that you have someone else to love and push me away
So maybe if you were someone else
I would hate that you loved me
Maybe if you were someone else
I wouldn’t wish that you were mine.
