A hidden dimension ( new version)
Teen, U, from Medellin, ColombiaThe story that you are going to read is supernatural. Some people say it´s fake, and others say the opposite, but it is in your hands, dear reader if you allow the magic to enter you as you read this and undergo an adventure full of mysteries and anomalies. So I will tell you about the adventures that a little 7-year-old girl named Sashta lived. Since she was little, she lived with her parents Deyla and Ayman in a house very far from the city, in a forest called the Portal Forest. The house was small, but full of memories... well... mostly memories of scenarios that Sashta imagined. like the time she destroyed her room while having a tea party with his dragon friend, his tail was so big that every time he leaned over to pour himself some tea it destroyed half the room! The house was surrounded by a fence. Nothing had ever happened but no one had ever gone into the forest. Who knows what secrets this place hides! Deyla says it's better to be safe than sorry. Since she was little, Sashta believed in magic. she always dreamed of living an extraordinary adventure, just as she saw in books and movies. Her parents worked in a candy shop in town all day, sometimes leaving for several days so they could work more, so they had no time for Sashta. They were very busy, and sometimes harsh with the girl. But that didn't stop her and she continued to be the same happy and mischievous girl as always.
One day, her parents had to go to town to work all night making candy for the next day. And in case you are wondering who took care of Sashta when her parents were away, the answer is... no one. Her parents would leave dinner ready and come home before she woke up to prepare breakfast. After a long day of loneliness at home, Sashta went to her room, which she called her patio of dreams, and settled into her bed. It was Friday night and since her parents were away and she really wasn't a girl who followed the rules, so she decided to continue playing until 11:00 at night. Like every night, Sashta dreamed about supernatural things, like superpowers, magic, and fairies. This little girl's imagination was infinite. Her imagination was so immense that it would take forever to mention everything she dreamed of in her little head. But that night, she dreamed of something different than what she normally dreamed of... something better, unimaginable, beautiful, and splendid. Sashta saw a fruit in her dream, something she had never seen before, its color was golden. This fruit was found in the middle of a forest. Sashta knew immediately that this forest was the portal forest, as she recognized the distinctive flowers of this forest around the fruit: the plumeria flowers. Sashta woke up almost immediately, she jumped out of her bed and shouted out of excitement:
-I must find that fruit!
And without thinking twice, she headed to his parent's room because she had heard that they had a map of the forest somewhere in their room in case something unexpected happened. When she arrived at his parents' room she began to search. She searched the closet and only found clothes and shoes, then she searched the bathroom, but again she found nothing. With little hope, she decided to look under the bed as a last option and found a beige box with some yellow flowers drawn all over the box: plumeria flowers. Sasha knew immediately that this had to be the box that contained the map. When she opened it she found the map that was rolled up. She took it, returned to her room, put on her boots, and her coat, and set off towards the heart of the forest.
When she had been walking for about 10 minutes, Sasha thought she saw that the forest was moving, not just that the leaves were moving, Sashta saw that the trees were changing color. At this moment, Sashta was filled with fear and contemplated the idea of returning, but there was something inside her that told her to continue and not to return, so she continued on her way with the hopes of arriving and finding what she wanted. If at this moment you are wondering what Sashta wanted to do with this fruit... well... the answer is that nobody knows, we do not know if Sashta saw something else in her dream, if she simply wanted to taste it or if she wanted the fruit to be investigated, the possibilities are infinite. But what matters is what happened afterward. She, of course, continued in haste towards the heart of the Portal forest, where she hoped to find the much-desired golden fruit. After three long hours of walking, she finally reached the middle of the forest, where at first glance there was nothing. Sashta, very disappointed, decided to search everywhere: she searched behind every tree, under every branch until she decided to climb a tree to look for this fruit. Sashta, climbed tree after tree, marking with a marker the trees he had already climbed. But when she was climbing tree number 7, Sashta saw something, she couldn't contain her emotions. She had found the much sought-after golden fruit. Quickly, Sashta tried to grab him, but it was useless. Sashta used all her strength to get the fruit until she lost her balance and slipped. Sashta was hanging 7 meters above the ground, only holding on to the fruit that seemed to be stuck to the branch. Sashta tried to scream and ask for help, but she was too far from home. The branch began to break little by little until it broke and Sashta fell still clinging to the fruit. Sashta was prepared to die, but when she closed her eyes and was about to hit the ground, a huge light came from the fruit and Sashta felt as if she had been gently unloaded on the ground. Sashta was so scared that she remained lying on the ground. until she heard a familiar voice.
- Sashta, Sashta, Sashta. She was amazed. The voice said: why did it take you so long to discover this dimension?
Sashta immediately opened her eyes, stood up, shook herself, and started looking in all directions, Sashta asked:
- who are you? Where am I? How do you know my name?
Suddenly her parents came out of a dark cloud, but something was wrong... Sashta didn't know if it was their looks, their voice, their love for her, or their dresses. Sashta was shocked and backed away without uttering a single word.
A few minutes of insecurity passed, and Sashta's parents told her that they had been waiting for her for a long time and that she should not be afraid, but she kept wondering where she was, her parents noticed this and clarified everything to her. They told her that she was in a different dimension and that she must never leave, or she would be punished forever. She, a little calmer, took a moment to observe her surroundings. She saw that his house was not in the middle of a forest, but was in a beautiful neighborhood full of children playing and running. Sashta took a second to think about this decision, she thought “In this place, I can be happier, and I still have my parents by my side”, so she swore that she would never return to her old life. Her parents always warned her that in this dimension the people were...different, each one with supernatural abilities and with peculiar physical qualities. Sashta adapted over time and learned to live alongside people with superpowers.
After having lived in this place for so long, Sashta began to notice that her parents were hiding something, in the mornings when Sashta left her room, her parents immediately stopped talking, as if they were talking about something that she was not allowed to find out. Her parents also started being harsh and curt towards Sashta. After sad nights and confusion, Sashta decided that her happiness was out of there, so she finally set off to her old life. But, when she saw the door that led her out of the country, she remembered that she had promised never to leave there. Sashta, eager to leave, broke her promise and left the country. Sashta, very happy with what she had achieved, ran directly to her old house. Since she didn't see his parents, she began to wonder if something had happened to her parents, but she decided to go rest and wait to see if her parents would return in the early morning, so she went to sleep. The next morning, Sashta heard some noises coming from the kitchen, she went down to investigate and found her parents who were having breakfast at the dining room table, Sashta ran to hug them with tears in her eyes. They were surprised by the cries and told her:
-Sashta, what's wrong with you? It was just a day when you didn't see us. Sashta stopped for a second and she understood that in the dimension in which she was, time did not exist, so what for her were many years, for her parents it had been a day. So, she breathed a sigh of relief, and she had a happy ending, or so she thought.
