Have you ever felt there's more to reality than meets the eyes .

So basically all my life , my parents and teachers told me that Magic is not real but I feel that there are creatures living alongside with us Humans , Most people thought I was crazy for thinking there are magical creatures.
They will either say "when will you grow up " or "run away from him he's possessed", nevertheless I never gave up on hopes and desires to find Magic. Wait do you guys know my name well I forgot to introduce myself, My name is Malik , I was born into a family of Three kids and am the last born, I have two elder sisters Aisha and Zainab who are so boring because all they talk about is fashion and bla, bla which is boring for an adventure seeker like me.
My parents are rich business people who go on business trips and barely has enough time for us and at the same time they are the best , they show us love .
so what triggered me to believe there's magic in our world .

Well it was in Elementary school where I saw a weird tiny creature which could talk it looked like a human but tiny and has wings when the creature saw me it flew away scared.
Since then , have been trying to discover magic but no one believes me , they all say am daydreaming but I know deep inside me that Magic is real . I couldn't take the pressure for me to discover magic so one-day I ran to a nearby lake where I saw a shining fish tale long with a human like figure .


When I saw the image in the lake , I couldn't believe my eyes , Then all of a sudden it vanished into thin air like the image swam away , I tried following it by the side of the lake but I couldn't meet up with it . Then I left for home

Meanwhile In the beautiful water Kingdom of Atlanta, Alex a merman was worried and panicked swam as fast as he could to the King's palace reporting that a human had spotted him , Gideon the King of the mermaids and mermans laughed out loud and said "I have a plan ".

Immediately I got home , I was shocked and indeed Happy about my discovery, I planned that I'll go back tomorrow, that same night I slept well than ever before.

The next day after school, I took my back pack , hopped on my bike and rode to the lake hoping to see something again but everything was in vain. I waited so long but I couldn't wait because clouds had already gathered and it looked as if it was going to be a Rain storm , so I grabbed all my tools and rode on my bike .
All of a sudden , my bicycle Tyre got deflated on the way home , and it began to pour heavily then I heard tiny little voices singing " pour out , bless the land ,make it fertile and let's have a beautiful world", first of all I thought it was my imagination creating such things ,but as I continue to go the song was sang melodiously , beautiful and clear but I couldn't find anyone then I said "Hello who's there".

As I continue to go I saw glowing lights and I smelt something nice and flowery then I heard a tiny voice "a human is here hide and go to your abodes ".
I tried my best to search for something but I felt cold so I ran home feeling tired and exhausted after today's adventure.
The next morning when I opened my backpack I saw a tiny little fairy.


Immediately I saw the fairy we both screamed out loud like babies, then it was about to fly but I couldn't because its wing was injured, The fairy was reluctant to talk at first but i tried my best to get it to talk , So she shyly introduced herself as "pixie".


Meanwhile, chaos was all about the Fairies Abode because the Princess of the fairy kingdom had gone missing, even the elements (fire ,water ,air , earth) was in confusion causing an imbalance in weather at the magical kingdom . The queen of the Fairies "Goldie" was worried and scared because her daughter was missing, Then Lucy a gothic fire element said "yesterday when the water element were making rain fall, a human almost caught us ,and we all ran away but for pixie she was hurt and she fell into the Human bag " the audience which already gathered gasped in shock and Goldie said " Humans!!, We need to find Pixie , if that means we wage war against the humans"

Pixie was a fun fairy ,we played and I got to know her as a friend . All of a sudden , the weather was having a bizarre change , it was really sunny and snowy at the same time, there were commotion around the bustling city then pixie who was underneath my jackets said "there's a problem in the magical kingdom , take me back my people are looking for me ".

Immediately Pixie said that , I ran home wore my favorite jacket hopped on Bicycle and took My phone for pictures then I rode as fast I could to the lake .

Then Pixie said "thanks for showing me round the city , but I can find my way from here ", my eyes watery and kinda sad that my little friend is leaving, I waved to her a goodbye and there she disappeared , I looked at the beautiful sunset going deep into the lake and sky .
I was about to leave then I got captured by a mermaid and I blacked out .
When I woke up I saw myself in a mermaid kingdom , then I was in front of their king Gideon who was mighty , had great athletic build and stuffs like what girls wanna see in a man but the difference is that he was a merman.
He summoned me , I introduced myself" hi my name is Malik ," then it struck upon me like lightning how am I breathing underwater , I tried swimming to the surface to get a way from this kingdom or so but it was all a waste of time, the mermaids caught me and Gideon said "Ha,ha,ha , the human has been caught , you can't escape you're one of us now , but with legs but initially you'll have a tail ". I was still processing what he said then he's guards took me to my room in the palace, it was gigantic and huge .
Then I realized something" how is there a city underwater", but I cleared the thought away when a beautiful , attractive, and alluring mermaid came in , she was the most prettiest have seen in my life , it was cupid I guess but wait with a magical creature, this is so stupid .
Then she walked up to Me , smiled genuinely, and passionately, then she mutter something I couldn't hear her because I was deep into her eyes allured , then she shouted "Hello!!", instantly I heard her and her voice was even beautiful as her .
Then she whispered into my ear "I can make leave here , do you want to go ", I thought for a while and told her "no" because I was allured by her, then she shook her head and looked at me in pity and said "you'll be eaten if you stay here ,trust me my people are dangerous and mean when it comes to human ,and of course they had already hired Maria the best chef in Atlanta ", I instantly got scared and we planned my escape move but someone saw me.


I ran away with Lily but Unfortunately, Maria the chef caught us , she was already causing commotion, the guards started running after us and Lily cast a spell on Maria and the guards in front of me , having to witness first hand magic is better than the so called magic they do in movies .

Maria and the guards froze on that spot and that gave us more opportunity to escape, we swam up as fast as possible and got to the bank where Lily waved at me a good bye and winked at me ,making my stomach do a weird flip , then she swam into the lake and I smiled .

I have a problem , am lost !!!!, I must have been on the other side of the lake which divides my city from another . I wander about but I couldn't find a way out.

As I continue to head north , I entered into a deep forest , the trees were as tall as sky scrapers , they were beautiful lush mountains and a beautiful volcano , with a clear Crystal water . I walked quietly admiring nature's beauty .

Meanwhile in Pixie's kingdom, she was welcomed back in a grand style and when she told Goldie about who rescued her , Goldie had a mix of emotions because it was a human so she tried her best to secure the kingdom so that humans will not destroy their kingdom like they did 500 years ago.

As I continue to journey through the forest , I saw beautiful ancient paintings on rocks which was shocking to see because of how the world has evolved burning bushes and forests, I was happy that those artifacts were preserved then I walked further as I did I stopped at a point where I saw tiny houses , and civilization but it was not of humans but Sprites.

Immediately they saw me they were frightened but later warm up to me with a beautiful song , I saw them dance on the crystal clear water which was beautiful and as some were dancing on water while the others were making flowers on land .


Then apart from sprites, I saw creatures tiny also but they were of elements, I saw Sabrina a water element, Lucas an earth element,
Marinette an air element
Ben the fire element.


Meanwhile, in the mermaid Kingdom , Lily was no where to be found apparently she had helped Malik and Moved to another kingdom Oceania far away from Atlanta .Gideon the king was angry and furious that he said "If Flooding London is the only way to kill that boy I'll do it "

Malik's parent and siblings were all worried they searched London all through but couldn't find him .

I played with the sprites and elemental spirits running about and helping them with their chores basically I don't know magical creatures had chores . Anyways I helped the sprites and they promise to help me find my way home.

As, they led me deeper into the forest we were close to somewhere which was a desert , with beautiful birds flying over . When we got to the desert ,I saw a phoenix bird which was elegant and magical it soared across the desert making beautiful sounds as the sun Kissed the desert sands which sparkled out like gold .

Then as we walked we got thirsty and I was craving for a cold soda at KFC that made me realize I missed my own world. As If the sprites could read my mind they casted a spell and a fountain of cold soda emerged from the sand and I enjoyed the chilled drink . We continued our journey and we made it a big city named "Harmony", it was a huge business, vacation, and busiest city in the magical kingdom various magical beings such as Gnomes, fairies, Dragons ,yetis , Mermaid and mermans , elemental spirits, shape shifters and so on .

I gasped out loud Happy to make it to Harmony , there were big cities with bustling sky scrapers reaching the sky , lush mountains and environments , a dream vacation spot and so on. As we continue to delve deeper into the city I made new Friends who were magical beings . We took a teleportation machine to the fairies Kingdom where I saw Pixie and I had to say goodbye to the sprites.

I looked at the sprites my eyes tearing up, my heart wishing them to stay longer but they couldn't because they had to watch over their villages but before they went they sang a song :

See the trees green

And I'll be happy when you smile back ....

I'll shine for who I am

After their wonderful and delightful song they looked at me and I said goodbye waving at them visualizing all the epic and wonderful journey and memories we had together. I blowed a kiss to them and they did they same and they mutter something and poof !! They disappeared.

So , first of all they could just teleport by themselves so why did they make me walk on a lifetime journey. Geez !! This sprites are annoying but still sweet .

Meanwhile, pixie shooked her head and said " hey, don't complain and be grateful and wait you're a human right ?.

I looked at her and said sarcastically" no am a fairy". She shooked her head once again and said " if you're a human , you can't be here or my mother who is the queen will banish you and you won't make it home but lost in the magical realm ".

I gasped and began to curse the mermaid who kidnap me , I didn't really curse him I just said " they look like tilapia fish !!" . Pixie smirked and said "I have a plan to help you but it might be silly".

I looked at Pixie imagining what her plan could be then she said "let's go shopping" , wait do magical creatures use money, so they buy things?, Weird right.

We got to a shopping mall , where she cast a spell on me to look as tiny as they looked and I loved it . Then she whispered into my ear "just act as if you've lost your wings" . I said "what ?, I haven't won the Oscars talkless of me acting "she looked at me with a bombastic side eye and said" just pretend or I'll cast a spell to make you look like a frog ". Immediately I acted along because a hot??boy like me can't turn ugly .

We entered a shop where they sell fairy wings , fake ones literally we bought one and get our butts out of there. Not to lie , some of those fairies at the mall are Gossipers . We got to the palace and I met a very beautiful middle aged fairy who was Pixie's mum .she welcomed me openheartedly and kissed me on my hand , I guess this is how fairies greet each other .

I met Pixie's brother's and sisters also who were all nice except for Oliver , he looked at me from head to toe scrutinizing me , geez this fairy was not taught proper etiquette, is that how you welcome someone politely and all he could say is that "My eyes are on you ". And the royal family invited me to dine with them in the evening .

Meanwhile ,Gideon on the other hand laughed and transformed into a fairy with an evil grin and he laughed" ha, ha,ha,ha" with a sinister grin .

I looked at myself disguised as a fairy , I smiled and then my reflection in the mirror smiled back at me . I laughed out loud gently reflecting on the journey I have gone through. As I continue to reflect on my journey so as the memories have gone through beamed at me in the mirror. When I saw it I was taken away into the mirror not literally but it was as if I was in it then I saw the image of the sprites and all the magical creatures have seen on my thrilling journey smiling at me singing a song which was led by me in the mirror .

Then I smiled again , and I saw something evil from the mirror coming towards me but I couldn't clarify the figure then I came back to reality.

Immediately I was back to reality , Oliver walked in without permission and said " hey , time for dinner ", I looked at myself once in the mirror and I walked down to eat .

Meanwhile, Gideon was already at the palace disguised as a maid ready to attack Malik.

As I walked downstairs, I saw the beautiful palace decorated with various flowers which scented nice and gave me a warm feeling. Then Oliver rolled his eyes and said "can you walk fast or can you even fly " , I was scared that my cover was blown but I had to act so I smiled at him and walked faster .

When I got to the table , Goldie greeted me warmly with a smile , The members of the royal family also were present except for one person Pixie . We thought Pixie was still dressing and getting ready but we waited till we can't.

Meanwhile in a dark room with dim lights , Pixie was trapped there with other magical creatures Malik made friends with the sprites , elements and others . They tried to escape but all their efforts was all in vain . Gideon the king had captured them to harm them.

We started to get worried but she didn't show up then we heard a clap from a maid , he smiled evil and had a sinister intention then all of a sudden he transformed to Gideon. Immediately I saw him the figure I couldn't see in the mirror was Gideon. Then he laughed out loud with dark magic surrounding him ,he was extremely powerful and he said "Give me the human and I'll leave" , at first the royal family denied that there was no human .

Then Gideon looked at them angrily and said "do you think am playing ", all of a sudden we got teleported to that strange room and he began to threaten us , I saw Pixie and my friends. We hugged embraced each other and I revealed to the royal family I was human . They were shocked and Oliver said" no wonder , I knew it , wasn't it that boy I saw in the human world at elementary school" , the looked at me with disappointment.

Then , pixie said the truth of how I helped her and how she decided to help me get back to my world , the sprites told them about me also , and then all the magical creatures gathered whispering. Meanwhile Gideon was about to attack me and poof !! I disappeared hearing "Do not come back , you shall forget us.

I woke up in the hospital with my parents who told me someone caught me almost drowning into the lake and I was rushed here . Where I have been in a coma for three days .
I hugged my family members and my head still ache a lot .
