The Little Tree’s Wish
Once upon a time, there was a small tree named Sprout in a silent forest. This was not like other big, powerful trees around the young man called Sprout. He was not tall and muscular, and his trees were stumpy and pencil-thin. He often gazed at the ets and those feeling of insignificance overwhelmed him at times. He longed to be like them-tall muscular boys who are respected by all.
One day, Sprout noticed that a flock of birds flew above him before perching on a tall oak nearby. This prompted a number of bird to start nesting with utmost joyous and started twining twigs and leaves to make perfect nests. It is sadness that every time Sprout observed and he also wished that the birds could also gather to him as well. But the branches were too thin to contain nest.
“Why can’t I be taller and stronger,” Sprout fumed, wishing he was a tad taller than he currently was. “Then the birds would want to stay with me.”
Some day Sprout did get a little taller, but he never did become as large as the other trees. This particular time the story goes that one day a big storm approached the forest. The wind shrieked, and the branches of trees moved with it. The trees which were taller and those which Sprout use to so much were now inclining due to the pressure exerted hap by the wind. Some even cracked and fell. Sprout was scared. Wind was blowing hard and he only felt like a tiny ant. But this is where things got interesting. Where the large trees swayed, Sprout with branches as if they were a few inches long remained to be steadfast. On him, the wind blew and yet the man did not fall. His roots stayed firmly in the ground and his thin limbs did not snap. When the storm ceased the forest was still for another . Some of the tall trees were destroyed but sprout was okay. When the sun came out, a group of birds flew over the car. Seeing Sprout
ready to defend, they decided to tag on his branches. They Said, yes happily, and Sprout thought to herself, it wasn’t too bad being small you know. He had his own strengths. Days later Sprout no longer wanted to grow taller than what he was since he was afraid of suffering the consequences. He realized one other fact which was that he was unique in his own sort as he was. It was great to be Sprout because the forest required different trees – both large
and small ones. Thus, Sprout developed cheerfully gradually, neither the biggest tree, but rather awake and friendly tree, with birds who always decided to stay at his top.

A very good example of being happy with yourself as you are! I think there may be a future for you in this story telling life.

Some of your sentences did not quite flow correctly. I found that having my computer read the story out loud to me helped me find these things before I published. Waiting for your next story.
