The Door is Open-Welcome Home

We've all received hard knocks from the world. We offer kindness, hope, compassion, trust, and joy, hoping for the same in return. But often, the world doesn't reciprocate. Instead, we encounter those who take advantage, draining our gifts. When this happens too often, we become bitter, cynical, and heartbroken.

In such times, we feel lost, searching for someone who won't take advantage of our kindness, compassion, hope, trust, and joy. We might find ourselves surrounded by people who bring out the worst in us or settle into a comfortable misery. This is when God steps in, a sliver of light piercing through the darkness. Initially unnoticed, this light becomes a sign of hope.

As we draw closer, we hear God say: "I know you've faced trials. You've been knocked down, talked about, treated horribly, and ignored. You've shown kindness and compassion, willing to be hopeful and give others the benefit of the doubt. Yet, the world has let you down, leaving you bitter, cynical, and heartbroken. But there's still hope. Come home. Come where you'll be welcomed, where no one will judge you, where you'll be loved. Come as you are and be restored. Come as you are and be happy again. Forgive those who hurt you and come home. The door is open; it's always open. When you enter, you'll find not just acceptance, but a strength you never knew you possessed. Here, you can shed your burdens and discover a future filled with peace and possibility. Let your journey to healing begin. Welcome Home."

God invites you to make His home your home. His door is always open—24/7, 365 days a year, with plenty of space. When you feel there's no one who will understand or love you, remember that God will. He invites us all to His home. The door is open. Come right in and… Welcome Home.
