Band of Brothers

It was the year of 1942 at Camp Toccoa, Georgia, We were all standing in formation getting ready to be put through hell and back. I looked around and saw three of my other friends, We all wanted to join you to fight the Jerrys.
Training was hell, but, we made it through and it was time to go and fight, most of us were thinking that most of us won't come out alive but didn't let that get to us. It was the day before the big deal or in other words the operation that will turn the tie of the war, known as Operation Overlord. We all were looking out the windows of the plane we were on, seeing all those ships in the water, knowing this will be a bloodbath battle on the next day. AA Guns were firing upon us from the ground, that was the beginning.We were hearing bullets hitting our plane and other planes were getting shot out of the sky that same night, but, we were lucky to made the jump. We were all over the place and it was pitch dark, you had to watch every corner to see if it was one of us or a german. Our main mission was to take down the Artillery Guns. After we take the guns down, the next day will be hell for both sides, there's no denying that point.
