The Red Poem
Born 1997, M, from Lisbon, PortugalAkram took a shower, it was 7:00 o clock AM and he had to get ready for school, soon he wore the school uniform and awaited for Hussain and Noor; his two school companions to walk and to get school. He came out of his house and looked like a Prince coming out of his Palace, " see he is again shaved! Ha ha ha ..." the Hussain and Noor were mocking him. It was a tough day and they had their school final examination and history was the last subject they had to take its test. They solved all the questions except the last one which titled "describe the wiesh Zalmaya movement ( awakened youths movement) ?"
And they were not able to answer it, because it was a question beyond their school text books and it was testing their general information about history and politics in Afghanistan. Later on when they ended up with school examinations, Akram asked his two fellows " really, who were wiesh Zalmayan ( awakened youths movement) ?!
Hussain and Noor replied with laughter " if we knew that we would answer and earned extra bonus!"
They referred to Akram's father who were a historian and writer " The wiesh Zalmayan( awakened movement) were the first radical left wing political group in Afghan history; they wanted to start a communistic revolution in a country where 80% of people did not know the name of Karal Marks!" .
One year later, they took Entrance test and happily all of them accepted in kabul University faculty of political science; where they were eager to know who was karal Marx! ?
along their fun and heavy study subjects, they were walking in the old kabul streets and that old kabul had a great culture mixed with traditions and western styles. On the weekends they were spending their time walking around Ansari Street where they could see the kabul five star hotel named kabul intercontinental hotel and also they had been visiting the setara disco club on Fridays, dancing and listening to Afghan traditional music. On Friday evenings they were busy with shopping from Hamidi store clothing house; Where you could find all European and American clothes brand, and cow boy jeans were their favourite clothing item, they also walking through Morgha alley ( Hens alley), naming this alley to animal had been showing the true love and respect of old kabul people to animals, which were so famous by American tourists.

Now it is 1978 and Afghanistan regime is changed to a tyrant communist regime named " Democratic Republic of Afghanistan ".
Now all these three people have their own communism ideologies.
Akram is now a moaist, Noor is a linenest and Hafiz became a Stalinest.
And Hafiz who is a radical stalinest and leader in regime put his two friends Akram and Noor into prison along with thousands of innocent people. Polecharkhi prison was the only prison where political groups were jailed. It was nearly 12:00 o clock that suddenly the door knocked and communist soldier entered the room and asked Noor and Akram to stand, " Read the Red poem, Read the Revolution poem!"
The communist soldier said , " long live Lenin, long live khalq( people party)
Long live international workers" the Akram and Noor were chanting.
The communist soldier asked both of them to stay back front and shut both of them while they were reading the red poem ....

11/15/2024Sorry, but you barely wrote anything about the subject. How did communism even emerge in Afghanistan? I believe USSR introduced communism in Afghanistan just as much as USA introduced democracy. It's necessary to know what you are dealing with in order to combat it. You shouldn't believe the lies about the ruling regimes being communist or democratic and mislead the struggle into combating communism or democracy. I'm pretty sure the pre occupation Afghanistan wasn't a heaven either. A very small strata of elites had the lifestyle you describe. The overwhelming majority of people were poor and illiterate.
Also, pay more attention to vocabulary. There are many mistakes in this text.
Help Us Understand What's Happening

11/15/2024Thanks dear leila for sharing your idea!
In fact communism emergence in Afghanistan was not only developed by USSR it happened occasionally,
The communist party who took control of Afghanistan had taken their resources from Iranian left wing party called Toda party which might be familiar to you.
The Afghanistan communists never had their own research on Marxism, they even did not read the capital.
They looked to help the middle class!
Too bad! they were oppressive on human rights and killed thousands of innocent people.
Just think of Mojahidden khalq in Iran if they took the power what would happen?
Hopefully it didn't and communism always have been harmful .
The pre war and pre occupation Afghanistan was a heaven, the communist party made Afghanistan a battle for USA and USSR to fight and take revenge.
The pre war Afghanistan had a Conservative and democratic regime.
