"A Courteous Woman"(FATIMA IMRAN) On a gloomy, rainy day there was a girl named Emma. She was going to school but on her way there was an old lady who was asking for money,but Emma refused to give her money and she pushed her saying; "O poor lady don't touch me". After this she left away. That old lady felt very sad and tears came in her eyes. When Emma was going back to her home the roads were very wet due to rain and suddenly Emma slipped on the road and fell down. She was very embarrassed from this. Tha same poor lady who was requesting Emma for money was standing there. She suddenly came and helped Emma to go to her home. Emma was very impressed with the behaviour of poor lady as Emma did bad to her and she had done good.So Emma felt very ashamed and asked for apology. Thay old lady forgave her with these golden words that; " Every person has the right of dignity and respect irrespective of any discrimination." Emma promised her not to do this again with anyone and to give everyone equal respect. After this, the old lady dropped Emma at her home and she went away.
