Two Bodies, One Soul
Born 1969, M, from Herten, NRW, GermanyThe evening had everything a romantic evening should have. A perfect little quiet restaurant in the Austrian Alps, just me and my blonde beauty, her gorgeous blue eyes shining into mine like sapphires, her golden waves looking like the nightfall of Tokyo's skyscraper lights. A bunch of stars in the night sky.
We sat by our secluded wooden table with one large candle lighting up our faces. She told me she had never seen such tender skin or such beautiful eyes as mine. I told she looked like the sunrise over Naples.
We devoured our French Onion Soup, exchanging bread bites, feeding each other with spoonfuls. We delightfully fed each other Wiener Schnitzel and let the Kaiserschmarren drop onto our chests so that we could lick it off. The whiskey tasted like a Spanish siesta in Valencia with glamorous flamenco girls stomping the sandy streets on an Indian Summer day. The wine was like a red satin blanket of ruby colored Rose's, fresh and tasty, submerged in the taste of oak.
As we sauntered up the mountain to our private hut overlooking Dachstein, we lit a fire, seeing the crackling flames eat the logs as we lay down on the white sheepskin rug. She unclothed and so did I and there we lay, a man and a woman, sharing a bottle of Dom Perignon 1956.
She looked gorgeous and we knew instantly that our bodies and souls were perfect for one another. When we made sweet wonderful love to the soft music of Nat King Cole, I thought I saw heaven. I became her and she became me. We were not separate bodies anymore, but one being sharing two bodies. The fire became us. The champagne became our souls. The snow outside was us in frozen form and so the universe expressed its beauty through us. The release was magnetic and cured our fears. Past traumas dwindled away like unused gunpowder washed away by cascades of holy water. We were the universe. At that moment, we were born to love.
And I sank unto her chest, her James Bond, her Indiana Jones, her Clark Kent, her Ethan Hunt, telling her that her forms were the cure to my heartache. That no fear had a chance in her presence.
Yin and Yang had become one. Adam and Eve had returned to Eden. The puzzle was complete. Love had conquered fear.
Nine months later, our baby was born and our matrimony was complete.
If God was love, we became the expression. The universe breathed through our kisses.

01/06/2025A beautiful story. Your descriptions were so vivid I could easily imagine being in that scene. I especially loved that the result of their wonderful night was their wonderful child.

01/08/2025Thanks. I am glad you like it. Every time I see a scene with Bond or a Hollywood hero in a hut in front of fireplace with a brandy I want to be there. I am at heart a hopeful romantic.
