The luckiness
Born 2015, M, from Ho Chi Minh, Viet Nam.png)
When I opened the wooden door, I couldn't believe how lucky I was. The room was sparkling with rare and valuable items, sitting in piles in the corners, absolutely collectible and real.
I stared in wonder at the piles of 4 leaf clovers, horseshoes, and everything that people consider as lucky.
I then picked a rather big horseshoe. As soon as I picked it up, the horseshoe glowed and retreated into a box. The box was decorated with cranes, rabbits, goldfish...
The box then mysteriously glowed in a bright color of teal and provided me with a mysterious code.
`#48AAAD`
I was really surprised that the box gave me a code. But why? For a moment, I felt lost in the middle of a lucky room until the box glowed again and told me that the code was the key to open a teal door and earn my prize for finding this particular room.
For a moment, I felt lost and stuck. Maybe this isn't a lucky room—maybe it's an unlucky room. I sighed, and just as I was about to give up, a little voice broke the silence.
"Lost, aren't ya?"
I froze and looked around.
"Who are you?" I shouted
"I'm one of the only talking clovers in the whole clover-verse of clovers. We're rare. Rare of the rare" it said calmly.
"Oops. Sorry for startling you. You know I'm not a clover expert"
"Never mind about that,`#48AAAD`."
"Excuse me?" I said, unsatisfied with what the clover just called me, "But what did you call me? Why do you call by the code but not by the name?"
"That's the rule," the clover said, "Anyway, I'll help you crack the code. Follow me"
The little clover flew up, face-to-face with me, and led the way. When she stopped, I looked at our destination. A teal door.
"There you go," it said, "Now, open the box please"
I took a deep breath and opened the box. As soon as the lid opened, the horseshoe that I saw earlier came bursting out and flew high into the air. I stared at it with awe and surprise. The horseshoe then stuck onto the door.
"Oh thank you for leading me the way, little clover," I said happily, "I was lost then you came in and led the way!"
"My pleasure, `#48AAAD`" the clover smiled and flew away
Just as I was reversing the scene of the clover, a big voice bellowed.
"PASSWORD!"
I was shocked. I didn't expect a blow from the door.
"Err... `#48AAAD`?" I answered
A chinking noise was played and the door bellowed, "Access granted" and opened itself. My eyes lit up when I saw a Ranchū. It was chubby and cute and it stared at me with big, bright eyes. I couldn't help myself and took the little fella.
I named him Raichu and walked over to the door. Just as I was about to exit, the door said, "Good job for finding the room. As a reward, I give you the fish and the horseshoe. Bye human"
I smiled and looked at the horseshoe. The horseshoe glowed teal again unstuck itself from the door and dropped into the palm of my hand. I smiled and cried, "Thank you" to the door. And that was that!

02/03/2025I very fun story. Makes you understand how it would feel to be thrust into a game world. I know I can count on you to keep going with this.
