Roses Delivered(Marla) The third stop was at a little office on 7th Street. “Flowers for Lori?” said the attractive delivery man. He gave a smile to the receptionist at the desk.

She smiled back. “For Lori? I’ll make sure she gets them.”

He tipped his hat in an old-fashioned gentlemanly sort of way and left to finish the day’s deliveries.

After he left, the receptionist, Lori Peters, smiled as she read the note.

“Dear Lori,
You are my everything. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day. See you tonight!
Love, Ron.”

She placed the flowers carefully on her desk. Then she took a picture of them as she had all the other bouquets that her husband, Ron, had given her.

That evening she was getting ready to go out for dinner when Ron came home. He smiled as he walked in, unbuttoning his uniform shirt.

“How was your day?” she asked.

“Not bad. I saw a beautiful woman at one of my deliveries today.”

“Did you really? What a coincidence. I saw a hot delivery man today."
