THE MAGIC TREE(BEN BROWN) Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a little girl, called Mary.

One day, Mary was walking through a forest, when she came upon a wide, open clearing.

She went to the centre of the clearing and placed a large golden seed on the emerald grass.

Then something truly remarkable happened.

The seed grew into an enormous tree with golden branches, a golden trunk and emerald leaves.

Mary, who was totally overwhelmed, was in for an even greater surprise.

At the foot of the tree, there appeared a large, keyhole-shaped opening with gold light shining through.

Then Pan appeared. He came through the opening, playing his pipes and danced past Mary.

There followed in his footsteps, a parade of Elemental beings.

Nymphs came first, followed by satyrs, goblins, dwarves, fauns, leprechauns and hundreds of fairies.

Mary stared in amazement, as Pan led the parade out of the clearing.
