School Cop Part 4

Sexual Harassment:
It was about 0130 when OTD 2 (a new one not the one above) and J. H. (FTO) made a car stop at Gunderson High School. After about 20 minutes J. H. notified me, they found drugs in the car. When I got to the school, I saw OTD 2 bent over the rear seat area of a car searching and not paying any attention to his surroundings. J. H. was standing near the front of the car watching 2 males in their late teen's early twenties, not paying ant attention to his partner.
As I walked past OTD 2 I tapped him on the bottom with my baton. The tap scared the heck out of him. He let out a noise and jumped into the car hitting his head on the door on the other side. The noise also startled J. H. I went up to J.H. and asked if the two had been searched. He said no. I asked why they weren't in cuffs, no reply. I asked why the car hadn't been impounded, no response. We were going to have a long talk, and I was sure he would not like it. All was made right and this incident ended.
Like most of my stories this was not the end of OTD 2. He is a probationary employee, important to remember. Any way about two months later, OTD 2 was out on the town (off duty) in Campbell. He forgot the first rule of partying, guns and alcohol don't mix. He got involved with two men bigger than him and pulled his equalizer.
Well, that didn't sit well with the establishment, and they called
Campbell PD. OTD 2 was arrested and my dispatcher notified the on-duty supervisor. It was my night off and my sergeant D.H. was on duty. He responded and as a courtesy OTD 2 was released to him. He called me and I told him to leave OTD 2's car where it was but bring him to the office. I met them there. To make a long story short he was fired on the spot. He asked how he was going to get home and there were no Ubers at that time, so I suggested a cab.
I can't be sure but I think J. H. put the idea in OTD 2's head to bring me up on sexual harassment charges for the tap mentioned above.
ODT 2 contacted an attorney, and they called the superintendent's office. The superintendent assigned the matter to a high school principal to investigate. I was interviewed, and during the interview admitted the incident occurred. I also admitted I should has used a different approach, but after all the details were made known, I heard no more of the matter and OTD 2 was still fired and the sexual harassment case was dropped.
