THE INVITATION

Clara was always bullied by her classmates because of her ugly scars, which she got from a horrible accident. She always wishes she could wash them away.
One day, she got an email from someone. There was a house that could fulfill wishes, but only one, and she was invited to join. She couldn’t believe eyes.

“I’m so gonna try it. There is nothing to lose. Even if it’s a lie, I already lose everything,” Clara said to herself, and she decided to go there.

It was a really prefect day for her. Everything was shining, even the smile on her face. She rolled down the car window and felt the breeze running through her face, she even closes her eyes. Suddenly, the taxi stopped. She opened her eyes and saw a house – the prettiest she had ever seen in her entire life. She got out of the taxi and knocked on the door.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!

The door opened, and a nice lady smiled at her and welcomed her.

“You must be the one. Come in,” the lady said.

Everything inside the house was normal.

“I made the right decision,” she thought to herself.

“Clara, to fulfill your wish, you must stay in the house for one night. You can do whatever you want in this house. Whatever you do, you can’t go outside, no matter what,” said the lady.

Clara agreed. It was not that hard for her she spent most of her life inside her house anyway. At night, she went to take a bath before she slept. It helped her sleep well. She went into the bathroom and filled the bathtub with water. She started seeing the reflection of a full moon in the bath. She looked up at the sky through the window, but there was no moon not even a star. The night was dark and quiet. It felt like she only person in the world.

The breeze ran through the window and made her shiver. She closed the window and slowly sat in the bath. The water was really warm and made her relax. She closed her eyes, enjoying the moment. She rubbed her arms and suddenly felt something different. She looked at her body. Her eyes widened. She jumped out of the bath and ran to the mirror. Her body was flawless.

She was really happy, and she wanted more. She jumped backed into the bathtub again.

“If I say longer inside, I’m gonna be more pretty.”
She closed her eyes. After a while, she felt the water getting colder. She tried to get up, but she couldn’t. some kind of force was pulling her back. The bath looked deeper and deeper, and she drowned.

She realized she was not in the bath anymore. She was in the middle of water from nowhere and the lady showed up in the water and grabbed her feet. Clara struggle and she couldn’t breathe anymore the. The last thing she heard was:
“For now, you are a new owner of the wish house.”

She opened her eyes in the bath again.
“It was a dream,”

She tried to leave the house. It was already morning. She tried to open the door, but she couldn’t touch it.
“No, no, no … that can’t be true.”

She ran back to the bathroom and saw herself laying in the bath looking through the window and she looked and saw a moon with a dark sky. And she realized she not on the world she knew not anymore, she belongs to the house now. She smiled with grief, grabbed her phone, and typed;

“You are invited to the wish house that can fulfill your wish.”
