The little boy named Tim always went to his friend’s home to play. It had been a long time since he played with his friend after they moved away. But after a year, they moved back to their hometown.
He really missed his friend, so he happily knocked on his friend’s door.
Knock, knock, knock.
After a while, his friend’s mom welcomed him with a warm smile. He asked where his friend was. Suddenly, the mom cried and said her son died after falling out of the window.
He was really sad. He could never see his friend again, and he missed him so much. So, he went to his friend’s room and slowly sat on the bed, gazing at the window and reliving the memories.
The warm wind came into the room, going through the curtain, and dry leaves kept falling on the ground. Then he saw a shadow behind the curtain. It really looked like his friend. He started to feel a chilling sensation from his chest. It was staring at him with dark eyes. He could feel the atmosphere turning cold and dark.
It was getting closer and closer. It was too late. He can’t run anymore he couldn’t even blink. The shadow jumped onto Tim and whispered in his ears.
“Run if you still can, my mom is already preparing the ingredients for you.”

This story is a masterclass in building suspense and subverting expectations. The emotional setup is perfect, and the twist at the end is both chilling and darkly comedic. A really interesting story I must say !!!

Again too short. There is so much more of the story to tell. Take you time and give it all to us.
