To my Storystar family.
As many of you have learned, I am dying from cancer and extremely ill most of the time. For this reason I am in the process of turning the site over to Denise Arnault who has generously agreed to manage it and continue it beyond me so that your stories will actively remain here for readers around the world to discover and enjoy, hopefully long into the future.
Please be patient with her as she learns the ropes, so to speak. There is a lot of responsibility with no reward, since Storystar continues to be quite costly to keep active online and does not provide anyone any income to cover those costs. So Denise is becoming a VOLUNTEER for Storystar.
PLEASE HELP do your part to keep it running in my absence. While I've been offline many have registered and then proceeded to solicit business from writers with fake 'comments' on their stories. They repeat the same comment over and over on everyone's stories asking to be given contact info or for you to contact them, and/or telling you they want to illustrate your story. Please do not engage nor respond to them. Instead PLEASE FLAG THEIR COMMENTS. Note that the flag only appears next to the comment for the first 24 hours, so always flag it when you see it or it will be gone. THANK YOU EVERYONE.
