Hi guys! I’m Meena
I had an account here before, but I lost access and couldn’t log in. So I’ve created a new account with the same username. You can still find my previous stories under the same author name.

Thank you for your support—enjoy my comeback story!

Wish

A girl stood on the balcony of her small house, gazing at the night sky. Stars twinkled above, and one suddenly broke, streaking across the darkness. She whispered to herself,
"I used to believe that stars could make wishes come true when I was six..."
Her mind drifted back to her childhood. She loved to draw, and one evening, while sitting on this very balcony, she had seen a falling star. Without thinking, she had made a wish.
"I want to be a great artist," she had whispered with hope in her heart.
Years passed. By the age of 15, her drawing skills had blossomed. She won medals and recognition at school and exhibitions. But life took a harsh turn at 19—an accident left her unable to draw. Days became weeks, weeks turned into years. Her name faded from awards, from exhibitions… from history. It felt as if Maya had been erased.
Tears brought her back to the present. Still staring at the stars, she looked down at her hands.
"These scars hold a lot," she murmured. Then she went back to her room to sleep.
The next morning, she cleaned her small home and entered her old art room. While dusting, she picked up a pencil—gray, technical, and engraved with her name. Her mother had gifted it on her 18th birthday. She stared at it for a long moment, then grabbed a blank page and began to draw. Her hand trembled at first, but she persisted. Minutes turned into hours. Finally, she traced her own hand on the page.
"I made it," she breathed.
Looking at her drawing, she remembered the six-year-old girl who had made a wish on a star. She sharpened her pencil, sketched a breaking star in all its brilliance, and smiled.
"I have another wish,"
