Getting ready:
"Wilson, time for school", called my mom as I couldn’t be late. Today our history teacher was going to teach us about a lost city that has several interesting things.
As I got on to the school bus me and my best friend Billy, were only talking about our predictions of the lost city and how it may effect us. "What if it’s a city of monsters that can invade the world?", asked Billy. "That’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard from you, Billy", I exclaimed. As we reached, both of us bolted through the corridors and into our class with a thud.
The Lost City:
History had started, Professor George was giggling as he was on the way to our class. He looked like someone had possessed him. As he started to talk, everyone was so engrossed that they didn’t even utter a single word. "The name of this city was Virethorn", started professor George. "This city was enchanted by a witch who had studied dark arts since childhood her name was Lady Virethorn. People say that her spirit is still alive and can talk to people in their imagination but kill them in real life. She first breaks your bones and then kills in many ways.", he explained.
The twist:
School was over professor was giggling again while going to his car."Professor’s very weird today", I said. Billy had come to my house after school for a sleepover as it was a Friday. We had spent almost all of our time researching on this city. Billy had somehow gotten some flashbacks and shouted,"the library. The library has books!" We had gone to our local library where the professor said that books on this topic were available. At night, while my parents had strictly told us to sleep, I grabbed my torch and Billy had got the book. We were so engrossed in reading that we thought we were exploring the city by ourselves reading, we didn’t even realize that we were reading the book now for almost about two hours straight until, I looked at my watch and suddenly stopped Billy at once who was dozing off. "I know why he was giggling!", I said."who", questioned Billy. "Professor! Today’s Halloween!", I exclaimed.
As we realized that professor had pranked us, we were all set to get him back in time!

02/22/2026That was interesting, but rather short. You did not have time to really tell us about your characters.
