The Creature in the Fog: Prologue

Luca walked down the path in the woods in a rush the fog was rolling in and he was scared that he would never be able to find the path to the cabin. When he got to the cabin he let out a sigh of relief. He got out a pot and placed it on the fire. He began chopping up vegetables for a soup when there was a knock at the door. He cracked the door open and a figure grabbed his arm. The figure wore a hood and mask to cover his head and face. He dragged Luca by the arm. Luca kicked and fought to try and escape the grasp of the man but the man was too strong. The man dragged him to a spot where there were other men dressed like one who had dragged him here. They were surrounding a circle made of blood and he was placed in the center. Chains burst from the ground and pulled him down. The men began chanting. He felt his body begin to twist and lengthen an excruciating pain shot through his body. His eyes watched the men and he made a silent vow to hunt and haunt any descendants of these men. These woods would forever be cursed. Then his eyes closed and everything went black.
