Goosebumps (based off the TV series)

By Zoe
Born 2010, F, from MA, United States

Goosebumps (based off the TV series)

Isaiah and James walked out of the coffee shop upstate. “WOOHOO!” Lucas shouted as he jumped off the roof. “Lucas! Are you okay?” His mom Nora shouted. There was blood coming out of his mouth. “Yeah mom I’m fine.” Lucas said weakly. “Well that was weird.” James said as they walked to the car. “Yeah.” Isaiah said back. They got to school. Isaiah plays for the football team, while James has crushes on boys. “Hey Isaiah!” Allison shouted. “Someone is trolling me on social media! See, look!” Isaiah looked at the video she had posted. “It was a video for the party I’m throwing tonight!” Tonight was Halloween. “Instead of my normal voice, they put a pig voice on the video then posted it on my account!” She said in one clump of air. “Then the troll sent the video to my parents. And now they're making me cancel the party!” “Oh no! That’s terrible!But..” Isaiah said. “......unless you have a new place to have the party.” Isaiah said to her. “You're right, Isaiah!” Allison said, “How about the old Biddle House?” Isaiah suggested. “Isn’t that place haunted though?” Allison asked. “Yeah, It’s Halloween though! Lets have some fun with this!”  “Okay… If you say so.” She said [Okay you are probably wondering where James went. Well he went to go ask out his crush, but then he bailed out. So BYE!] Isaiah headed to the councilor's office because he was called. “Okay.” Said Colin, the counselor. “Let me get this straight to you. You have to ace the next english exam, or else you won’t be able to compete in the next game tomorrow. I’m sorry, but I know you can do this. Now leave my office please and thank you.” He said. Isaiah left the office. He went home. His childhood best friend and neighbor, Margot walked outside to find him sulking. “Hey, what’s the matter?” Margot asked. “Can you help me cheat on tomorrow's exam?” Isaiah asked quickly. “What, no, why?” She asked. “I have to ace it or else I won’t be able to compete in tomorrow’s football game!” “Fine.” Margot said. “Oh um also, do you wanna come to Allison’s party tonight? Almost the whole grade is gonna be there.” Isaiah asked. “Sure.” Margot said. They left. It was 8:00 when Margot got there. The power went out. Isaiah went downstairs into the basement. The door closed. They were screaming, “ISAIAH, ISAIAH!” They were getting worried. Then the door opened.
