Inside the Goblin Castle, Damaria sat in the library. She was not in a happy mood today. Even reading did not lighten her spirits. Suddenly, she heard music coming from the throne room. Curious, she made her way there. When she arrived, the sight before her made her smile.
Gabryel was in the middle of the throne room, dancing and singing, with the goblins surrounding him, joining in.
"I saw my baby crying hard as babe could cry. What could I do? My baby's love had gone and left my baby blue. Nobody knew," Gabryel sang.
Just then, the goblins chanted:
"What kind of magic spell to use?"
One sang, "Slime and snails, or puppy dog tails!"
Another sang, "Thunder or lightning — then baby said:"
"Dance Magic Dance!" they all chanted together.
Damaria giggled as she watched Gabryel and the goblins sing and dance. Soon, her eyes landed on Gabryel's crop, resting on the throne. A mischievous smirk crossed her face as she made her way toward it.
Gabryel spotted her. Damaria noticed and smiled, falling into step with the music, dancing and singing along. He kept dancing and singing as his eyes followed her — his lovely Damaria, so beautiful. He felt blessed to have her. She smiled back at him, thinking how handsome he was. Every time she looked at him, she couldn't help but smile.
The three of them — Gabryel, Damaria, and the goblins — continued singing and dancing through the chorus. Damaria reached the throne and was just about to grab the crop when it suddenly flew off the throne and into Gabryel's hand.
She realized she had been caught. Gabryel simply smiled and flirtatiously crooked his finger at her. Giggling, she danced over to him.
Once she was close, he gently took her wrist and pulled her into his arms. Damaria laughed as Gabryel grinned down at her. She made one more attempt to take the whip, but he kept it just out of reach.
Laughing and smiling, the two sang along with the goblins.
"You are mischievous," Gabryel said telepathically, his tone playful.
"Says the mischievous Goblin King, who is far more mischievous than I," she replied in her usual tone — seductive, yet teasing.
"By the way — thank you," she whispered. "Somehow you always know when I am sad, and you always know how to cheer me up."
Gabryel smiled. "You're welcome, darling. I can't have my lovely one being sad. Stirring up your mischievous side always brings a smile to your face — especially when I can catch you."
She laughed, he smiled, and then they kissed.
