"Spectaculara The Powergirl [part one]"

Part One – The Last Voyage of Lara Zor-El

Far beyond the blue skies of Earth, beyond countless galaxies that shimmered like diamonds in an endless sea of darkness, there once flourished a magnificent world known as Krypton.

Krypton was a planet of astonishing scientific advancement. Its crystal cities reached high into crimson skies, its civilizations mastered technologies that many worlds could scarcely imagine, and its people believed that knowledge was the greatest treasure in existence.

Among those citizens was a young woman named Lara Zor-El.

Lara was admired for her curiosity, compassion, and willingness to explore the mysteries of the universe. Although she was trained in Krypton's sciences, she never viewed knowledge as a tool for power alone. She believed discoveries should improve lives.

Her family often joked that Lara would rather spend an evening studying the stars than attending one of Krypton's grand celebrations.

They were right.

Every night she climbed the highest observatory towers, gazing toward distant constellations.

"I wonder," she whispered one evening, "what beautiful worlds lie beyond ours."

She would never know how prophetic those words would become.

The Day Krypton Fell

Without warning, strange tremors shook the planet.

The crystal foundations beneath entire cities began to fracture.

Scientists rushed to emergency stations.

Massive energy readings surged from Krypton's unstable core.

Warning sirens echoed through every district.

Citizens looked upward in confusion as enormous fissures tore through mountains.

The impossible was happening.

Krypton was dying.

Lara's family raced toward one of the evacuation facilities.

Only a handful of experimental escape vessels had been completed.

"There isn't enough time!" shouted an engineer.

Lara hesitated.

"What about everyone else?"

Her father gently placed his hands on her shoulders.

"You must live."

"I don't want to leave you."

"You carry our hope."

Her mother embraced her tightly.

"No matter where you go, remember Krypton."

Tears streamed down Lara's face.

"I promise."

The hatch sealed.

The launch engines ignited.

With an enormous burst of blue-white light, Lara's escape vessel blasted into the heavens.

Seconds later—

Krypton disappeared.

A blinding explosion illuminated the stars.

Lara watched helplessly through the rear window.

Her home...

Her family...

Everything she had ever known...

Gone.

Silence filled the cabin.

She quietly cried herself to sleep.

A Journey Through Forever

The spacecraft entered an automated hibernation program.

Artificial intelligence controlled every system.

Years drifted by.

Then decades.

The vessel crossed nebulae painted emerald and violet.

It passed frozen comet fields.

Ancient ruins floated through forgotten sectors.

Entire civilizations rose and vanished while Lara remained asleep inside her crystal stasis chamber.

Her journey had become one measured not by days...

...but by generations.

The Sea of Living Stars

One distant century into her voyage, something extraordinary occurred.

A gigantic storm of radiant celestial energy appeared across the spacecraft's flight path.

It wasn't lightning.

It wasn't plasma.

It resembled an ocean of living starlight.

Golden ribbons twisted through deep violet clouds.

Silver particles danced like fireflies.

The ship attempted evasive maneuvers.

Too late.

The vessel entered the storm.

The cosmic current wrapped around the spacecraft.

Energy surged through every system.

Alarms rang.

The navigation computer failed.

Power conduits erupted with brilliant light.

Inside the hibernation chamber, streams of shimmering cosmic particles seeped through microscopic fractures.

The light surrounded Lara.

Instead of harming her, it slowly merged into every cell of her Kryptonian body.

Golden symbols briefly appeared across her skin before fading.

The chamber stabilized.

The energy settled into silence.

The ship continued drifting.

No one knew what had happened.

Least of all Lara herself.

A Blue Planet

Many months later, the navigation computer awoke.

A soft voice echoed through the cabin.

"Destination acquired."

Ahead floated a beautiful blue world.

Oceans sparkled beneath white clouds.

Green continents stretched across its surface.

Life.

The vessel adjusted its trajectory.

Its engines sputtered weakly.

Without warning—

A meteor shower struck.

Chunks of rock slammed into the already-damaged spacecraft.

Hull integrity collapsed.

The emergency systems activated instantly.

The vessel plunged toward the planet.

Flames engulfed the hull.

The sky burned orange around it.

People across the countryside looked upward.

"What is that?"

"It looks like a shooting star!"

"No—it looks too big!"

The spacecraft roared through the atmosphere like a blazing comet.

Landing on Earth

Far outside a peaceful American settlement called New Amsterdam Town, the escape vessel slammed into a wide forest clearing.

BOOOOOOM!

Trees bent from the shockwave.

Leaves filled the air.

Smoke rose hundreds of feet.

Animals fled.

Silence followed.

Minutes later...

The damaged hatch slowly opened.

Steam drifted into the cool afternoon air.

A young woman cautiously stepped outside.

She wore the elegant blue-and-white attire she had left Krypton in, though it had been scorched from the fiery descent.

She looked around in amazement.

Fresh air.

Birdsong.

Towering trees.

A gentle breeze.

She knelt and touched the grass.

"So..."

"...this is another world."

She smiled for the first time since leaving Krypton.

First Steps into New Amsterdam Town

Following a winding dirt road, Lara eventually reached New Amsterdam Town.

It was unlike anything she had imagined.

Children laughed while chasing one another.

Shopkeepers greeted passing customers.

Cyclists rode down quiet streets.

People smiled.

The aromas of fresh bread, roasted coffee, and blooming flowers filled the air.

Everything felt wonderfully alive.

Yet people couldn't help noticing the unfamiliar young woman.

Her clothing looked unusual.

She seemed fascinated by stoplights.

She stared in wonder at automobiles.

Even something as simple as a mailbox fascinated her.

"How remarkable..."

She quietly observed nearly everything.

Unfortunately...

She also had no money.

No identification.

No idea where she was.

Unexpected Friends

Across town, three individuals happened to notice the confused traveler.

The first was Amy Pond, whose adventurous spirit immediately sensed someone in need.

She approached with a cheerful smile.

"You look a little lost."

Lara blinked.

"I believe...that is an accurate observation."

Amy laughed.

"I like you already."

Before long, another passerby stopped.

It was scientist Bruce Banner.

Bruce immediately noticed the scorch marks on Lara's clothing.

"You've been through something serious."

"I...cannot fully explain it."

Bruce could tell she wasn't dangerous.

She simply seemed overwhelmed.

Moments later, a tall man carrying groceries joined them.

It was Steve Rogers.

Steve offered a warm smile.

"Everyone deserves a helping hand."

Amy nodded enthusiastically.

"We're not leaving her standing out here."

Bruce agreed.

"I think we should make sure she's safe."

Steve extended his hand.

"My name is Steve."

"Amy."

"Bruce."

Lara gently shook Steve's hand.

"My name is Lara."

"It is an honor to meet all of you."

None of them realized how extraordinary this meeting truly was.

Amy simply thought she'd made an interesting new friend.

Bruce sensed there was something unusual about Lara but couldn't explain it.

Steve admired her kindness despite obvious hardship.

As the four walked together through New Amsterdam Town, laughter gradually replaced Lara's sadness.

For the first time since Krypton's destruction...

She no longer felt alone.

Epilogue – A Light Beneath the Skin

That evening, Amy arranged for Lara to stay in a cozy guest room.

The room was simple.

A comfortable bed.

A wooden dresser.

A small window overlooking quiet streets illuminated by moonlight.

Lara stood by the window for a long while, gazing up at Earth's stars.

They were different from the stars she had known on Krypton, yet somehow comforting all the same.

"I hope," she whispered into the night, "that wherever my family may be remembered...they know I survived."

Exhaustion finally overtook her.

She lay down and drifted into a deep sleep.

As midnight settled over New Amsterdam Town, something extraordinary began to happen.

A faint warmth stirred within her.

At first it was subtle, like the gentle glow of an ember beneath ash.

Then threads of radiant light shimmered beneath her skin.

Gold.

Silver.

Azure.

The same cosmic energy that had silently infused her during her voyage through the stellar storm awakened as though responding to Earth's skies.

The light pulsed in rhythm with her heartbeat.

Outside, a breeze rustled the trees.

Inside, Lara's room became bathed in a soft celestial glow.

She stirred uneasily.

Her dreams became filled with galaxies swirling around her, luminous constellations singing in voices she could not understand, and vast rivers of living starlight flowing through the cosmos.

Suddenly, she gasped and sat upright.

The room was silent.

Moonlight spilled across the floor.

She looked down at her hands.

Tiny arcs of shimmering cosmic energy danced over her fingertips before fading into nothingness.

Lara stared in astonishment.

"What...was that?"

Her heartbeat quickened.

She could still feel a strange warmth deep within her, as if a sleeping sun had taken root inside her.

Unaware that this mysterious force would soon change her life forever, Lara watched the last traces of light disappear into her skin.

Outside, dawn was still hours away.

Inside, the first spark of a new destiny had been lit.
