The Sleepover Disaster

It was meant to be a perfect sleepover. The 3 best friends Devesh, Hamdan and Uzair Gathered at Devesh’s mansion in Dubai. The plan was to have a pizza party and watch a Horror Movie afterwards. After Devesh’s dad ordered the Pizza, Devesh asked “Which horror movie should we watch?” “Lets watch the movie called Bloody Mary” said Uzair. “What is the story about?” asked Hamdan. “How do you not know what Bloody Mary is” asked Devesh. Uzair quickly googled about “Bloody Mary” on his phone and said, “Do people actually do this challenge, have they lost their mind?” Asked Uzair.

It was time to go sleep but for some reason they weren’t sleepy at all. So Uzair said “Why don’t we try the challenge of Bloody Mary. Hamdan said “Are you crazy? Why do you want to do this, and didn’t you say this challenge was crazy at first?” “It is crazy but think about it Hamdan it is not like we have anything else to do,” said Devesh. Hamdan was hesitant but he finally agreed. So, they turned off the lights in the bedroom and started voting on who should do the challenge of Bloody Mary. After the voting had finished, Devesh was the one with the most votes. So, he took the candle and lit it.

With sweaty and trembling hands, Devesh held the candle tightly and slowly started heading towards the washroom. Devesh thought “why am I doing this? God, please save me! I don’t want to die in washroom.” Reluctantly Devesh stepped inside the washroom. He stared at the mirror above the sink.

“Can a ghost really come if I say Bloody Mary thrice?” thought Devesh. After having a quick look in the whole washroom behind the shower curtain and behind the tiny window, Devesh gathered courage to say the dreadful words from his mouth.  He said slowly, “Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary.”

Shivering with fear, Devesh was waiting for a Deadly face to pop up in front of him. He waited for a few seconds, but nothing happens.  Just when he was about to step out of the washroom, he saw the scariest looking figure off his life. He shouted “ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.” Uzair and Hamdan came rushing and turned on the lights and said, “got you” and said it was all a prank. Devesh was mad but was also kind off happy at the same time and the Bloody Mary idea ended up as a prank.
