Just another girl on the street; that's not what Angela wanted to become. Angela was growing up in an environment where the body mostly ruled the mind! She saw her boyfriends and girlfriends growing up much too fast; and she was growing up much too fast; much too fast!

"We're engaged in too much fleshly pursuit; there's more to life than just to satisfying the flesh!" She argued with herself.

She was sick of this environment; she was sick of giving in to the flesh! She would now try to resist the flesh, if she could!

The boys she usually came in contact with "They were after one thing!" she said to herself, "the flesh."

She had girlfriends that were younger than her and they were already mothers!

She had boyfriends younger than her and they were already fathers!

Angela said to herself, "When I look into the mirror years from now, I don't want to see an ugly old woman with nothing to show for all her years of living; I want to see myself with something to show!"
