The Life A Teen Goes Through(Thi'Dijah Cromer) One Monday morning, Haven, Carlisha, Artlysha and Darrinique were post up on the school gate waiting for the bell to ring and Haven fell in love with Kama at first sight. So did Darrinique, but she never told Haven. When the bell rang, Haven went to Kama and asked him for his number and from then they were going out. Haven told Darrinique, Artlysha, and Carlisha that she and Kama were going out. And they all told her congratulations, but deep down in Darrinique’s heart, she wanted to go with Kama, but she didn’t want to tell Haven so she told Artlysha and Carlisha instead.

Two weeks later they met each other’s families. They were going out to eat and to the movies and spending time with each other. Finally he was saying he loved Haven and he wanted to make love with her and she said yea. So Haven and Kama had sex and Kama video-taped it. So they were done and Haven called the girls and said, “let’s meet up at the end of the block”. While on the block, Haven told them the news. Darrinique asked her why she would do that while he could have been only doing it so as to tell his home boys. Haven said, “you don’t know what you're talking about he's not going to do that because he loves me and we are always going to be together.” Carlisha and Artlysha asked if she was sure. Haven said, yea. They asked her if she was under peer pressure, because sometimes boys make girls do things they don’t want to. Haven started crying and finally said she really didn’t want to do it, but she looked into his eyes and said to herself she really liked him so she would just do it, but when she was done, she didn’t know how she should feel. So the girls were just like, “you should’ve told him you weren’t ready for what he was ready for.”

The next morning, Haven called all the girls and told them she was not coming to school. The girls in school and Darrinique started asking questions about Kama. Then they went to lunch and Darrinique saw Kama, so they both skipped school and they went to his house where she saw the video on the computer screen. When Kama went to the bathroom, she copied the video and put it in her bag. He came out he started talking and play fighting and kissing and before she knew it, she was having sex. She jumped up and said it was not right and he asked why. She said because Haven was her friend. She got up and left.

Haven called Darrinique and she didn’t pick up so she got mad at her and fussed her out. Darrinique got mad and she put her video on facebook, twitter, and YouTube. So she sent a text to everybody and told them to go look at it. People started looking at it and putting comments on it and they were talking about her. So Carlisha and Artlysha looked at it and called Haven and told her to go look at it. Then Haven called Kama and asked why he would do that to her if he loved her. He said, “did what?” She told him. He looked at it and said, “I didn’t do that, your friend must have done that when she was at my house.”

Tuesday Haven walked in the hallway, and people were laughing and talking about her, making her feel bad. So Darrinique, Carlisha, and Artlysha were walking down the hallway and they saw Haven and walked to her and she asked them who was at Kama’s house. Darrinique said she was at the house. Haven asked what caused her to post the video of her and Darrinique. She replied, “I did it because you fuss me out and I needed to get back at you.” Haven reached over to hit her and they pulled her back. Then Haven said, “I’m going to catch you in the streets”. Later on that day they saw each other and they started fighting. Two boys broke it up and then Carlisha, and Artysha said, “y’all need to stop all this and work it out like teenagers.” So Haven and Kama still were together at the end and Darrinique said sorry to Haven and told her she was just mad that Haven went with Kama and she didn’t. Haven said it was okay, she forgave her, but she just learnt how to keep her friends out of her business and listen to them when they tell her about a boy that’s no good and likes to put girls in danger. So now all the girls found out about the life of a teen.
