My Life(maura) My mother was a drunk and a drug addict. she didn't care about much except my sister Megan. my family hated my mother so since I'm from her they didn't like me that much either. my mother stayed out most nights drinking and partying which left me with my oldest sister Andrea. she cared for me until she couldn't take the abuse from my mother anymore. she left but she couldn't take me. my mother hated me. she had to watch me while she partied and got drunk so she handed me off to some random guy. i was raped the 1st time when i was 5. when my sister's friend found me i was on the floor crying. she didn't know what to do so she took me back to my moms. then after a while i was left at home alone. my godmother came 2 babysit me but when she got there i was trying to make food and almost burned the house down. she asked why i was doing it i told her that i hadn't eaten in 4 days. so she took me away to her house where i lived for 2 months. then my mother noticed i was gone and yelled at my godmother to give me back. my life went from happy to life threatening in 0 to 60 sec flat, but we will get to that later.

I found out my mom got a new boyfriend. and my sister and her boyfriend chewy lived downstairs. my sister was trying to get custody of me and i started school again. i got some new friends. they lived across the street. the mother of the kids was Brazilian. i hung out there and slept over because i was half Brazilian and they treated me like family. until the brother in law showed up. he was nice and sweet but he gave me a weird feeling. i went to the bathroom one day and he walked in and raped me. i was in shock. i told my teachers but no one believed me. i didn't understand.

My sister got kicked out by my mother again even though she was paying rent. apparently my mom wanted more money from my sister and she didn't have it. my sister was trying to buy my mother to sign her rights to me away and give them to her, but my mom took all of her money and said to come up with 10 thousand more then sure I'll give her up. she left. everyone always leaves me. it's inevitable. then my mothers boyfriend took a liking to me. when i turned 6 my mother watched as he came into my room, on the day i turned 6 years old until i turned 8. then someone actually listened to me. they called the cops and child services. my mother said it was my fault. the next day i was put into foster care where i was raped in three different homes.

I know now that it wasn't my fault, but if something like this ever happens to someone else listen to them. they might be telling the truth. right now I'm only 16 and i was raped more then 10 times. if someone listened to me it might have prevented at least one of them. so listen to your kids, friend, friends kids, or even a person you don't even know, cause more than half the time it's not a joke.
