Once, there was a boy named Isac Cunningham and a girl named Felisha Freemen. Their lives were hard as they grew up in poverty and had many struggles. They didn't have it easy because their parents were drug addicts and drug dealers. Isac was born July 5, 1996. He was born and grew up in Trinidad and Tobago. Life in Trinidad was hard. Every day of his life was hell. His mother’s name was Amber Cunningham. She was on heavy drugs. Isac was always told that his mother was on the streets when she had him. Ever since that day, Isac always told his mother that he was going to make her proud. Isac had high expectations and goals. He wanted to be either a lawyer or a crime investigator. Growing up in Trinidad wasn't easy; Isac had to focus on his education to be a successful person in life.

Meanwhile, Felisha lived in Tobago. Her life couldn't get any better growing up without having a role model in her life .Her dad and mom were married for five years, and when her mom died her dad went crazy. He started on cocaine and then got worse. He started sleeping on the streets and he usually come in high. One night when Felisha was asleep, she felt something on her leg, but she didn't pay it any attention, she then looked again and she saw her dad. He was drunk and brutally beat her, and he also raped her. She cried out loud but nobody heard her. The next day she told her teachers and they said nothing could be done. She told them how he brutally beat her, but they said there were no options. Felisha made up her mind to run away and then she met Isac at the train station. They shared stories and goals and Isac had tickets to the United States. He asked her if she wanted to travel with him. “Yes”, she replied. When they arrived at the united states, they were amazed at how beautiful it was.

Life in the united states was hard for teens that didn't know about it. But they found a low price apartment and they settled down and finished school. Meanwhile back in Trinidad, Felisha's dad had passed away. He was killed in a car crash. When Felisha heard the news she was sad but she got over it. Then they both graduated with diplomas and went to Harvard. And then they also got married and worked together. And they had kids together and their kids had role models in their lives, but no grandparents. The kids grew up to be successful like their parents.
