In a small green forest far far away lived a little bird called Kuvis. She had bright eyes, small ears and blue feathers. When happy, she called out; Ippos Ippos.

Kuvis was very curious of all the colours around her. Her eyes lit up whenever she saw blue, green, white or more colours. Every morning, she would hop around in search of colours.

At night, while sleeping, she dreamt of her old friends, the frog, the orchid flower, the snake, the humming birds and all the wild animals who had wandered in search of food. She wished they would be with her forever and never leave her.

One morning, while hopping around the branches in search of more and more colours, she reached the top most canopy of the forest. From the canopy, she saw in the sky the most colourful pattern, the Rainbow.

She kept sitting for hours gazing at the colours and wondering. How she would have liked these colours to be with her forever!

Suddenly, there was a sound. Poof!! Rainbow fairy mother appeared, and said “hello Kuvis birdie, what do you want?”

Kuvis said, “Rainbow mama, I want these colours with me forever, I love them.”

Rainbow fairy mother said, “So be it, kuvis bird”, and chanted the magic words, “hush rush and thrush give me a paint brush,” and wow, there was a colour paint brush!!

Rainbow fairy mother gave it to Kuvis and said, “take this, a brush of nature, with this, all you paint will come to life”. It vanished after that.

Kuvis was very excited, and thought of her friend Mr frog, and started sketching a frog and wola!!! There was a beautiful frog. Frog croaked “Kuvi, Kuvi I am back”.

Kuvis was thrilled and painted her old friends, humming birds, snake and all the beautiful things she missed.

For days she did not sleep. She painted insects, trees, lakes and more. All of them came to life.

Worried, Mr Frog and friends asked Kuvi birdie, “why are you painting so much, why don’t you sleep?”

Kuvis smiled and replied, “I don’t want to miss you guys, so I am creating all the food you will need.”

Mr Frog and friends smiled, and said, “We will never again leave you” and helped Kuvis to paint a big forest with lots of food. And they lived happily ever after.
