Flying in the Heavens

Crystal glares at the stranger. She was getting vibes from him, but whether they were good or bad was yet to be determined. Since he was close to their age and obviously mixed, she wanted to trust him, but knew from past experiences not to trust anyone. She hated not trusting anyone, but it was the only way to ensure her brother’s and her own safety.

He puts his hands up and slowly walks towards her. He knows she is watching him intently so he lowers his eyes in submission. He doesn’t say a word; though there are so many things he wants to tell her.

She watches him as he slowly approaches, his eyes cast down like those of an obedient servant. She rolls her eyes at him but stays where she is. She knows he’d been watching them for a while, but he had never been so close.

“What supernaturals are you?” Crystal growls at him curiously. He looks at her and opens his mouth to answer her. She shakes her head and says, “Don’t tell me, show me.”

He turns demon first; his hair turns pitch black, his eyes glow ketchup red, and his wings look like black glass. Then he shows his Fallen Angel form; his hair turns blonde with white tips, his eyes are now a brilliant blue, and his wings are feathery and white with golden tips. Finally he changes into vampire form; his hair turns a dark brown, his eyes turn a hazel, and he shows her his sharp fangs.

She watches him change forms and sighs slightly. “I guess if you wanted to kill us, you would’ve done it a couple of weeks ago,” she admits reluctantly. She sighs and thinks what the heck, only one-way to figure out if I can trust him. She walks over to him with determination.

He smirks at her when she begins to walk over to him and tips his neck naturally, already knowing what she was going to do. He stands there silently, happy that he had chosen to wear an undershirt that emphasizes his sculpted abs. Paired with that was a pair of black jeans.

She puts her hands on his shoulders and brings her lips to his neck. But instead of kissing him she bites him, hard. She then begins to lick the blood of his neck, suddenly stopping.

He wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her closer to him. He groans as she bites into his neck, then places a hand on the back of her head and holds her to his neck. When she stops he isn’t concerned, he knows that she is only seeing his past.

She snaps out of it and smiles. He had lived a good and honest life. She licks the bite slowly, healing it. She had seen how he saw her through his eyes. To him she was an angel, not a fallen angel. To him she was the most beautiful creature in the entire Universe.

He knew that even though she was able to tell that he thought she was extremely beautiful, she wouldn’t be able to see his thoughts. He didn’t know if demons, or fallen angels had mates, but if they did, he knew she was his. He had no way of explaining it, but it was like he just knew that they were meant to be together.

Then, to his utter surprise, she offers him her neck. He looks at her for a few minutes, then down at her neck. He didn’t want to bite her, yet he did. He frowns as he contemplates it; then, with a shrug, he pulls her closer and softly bites into her neck. He drinks from her slowly, and then removes his lips from her neck and shifts to Fallen Angel form. He then replaces his lips and licks the blood off her pale skin. He is able see her whole life; he couldn’t believe what she had gone through.

He pulls his head away from her neck and looks into her eyes. “I won’t let anything else harm you,” he whispers to her softly and he meant it with all his heart. He would do anything to keep her from having to deal with all that pain again, even if it meant dying.
