Lost

Lost(Miranda) We were out in the wilderness. Suddenly, a wild black grizzly bear attacked us. I tried to run, and he tried to help me. But the grizzly got me locked in a death wrenching grip, both paws squeezing my neck. He didn’t give up, he grabbed a stick and jabbed the bear in its eyes, making it roar in pain, loosening its grip just enough for me to slide out. As I slid out, he grabbed me and kissed me until the world around me had disappeared and I was free of pain. We stopped and just looked around, it was autumn. The leaves were falling all around us, as we stepped the leaves would crunch under our feet. The different colors were just amazing, orange, red, yellow, and brown all around us... I was still bleeding, I could hardly breathe, but I was just drawn to these woods... I didn’t want to leave, but he was pulling me, and he was crying. I told him, if I was going to die, I’d die right here. He didn’t stop; he kept pulling me and begging me to stay alive and to come with him. The hospital was nearby; he picked me up and wrapped his shirt around my neck to subside the blood that was gushing from my neck. I was falling unconscious and he told me to keep talking to him so he knew I was awake... Once I stopped, he put me down and felt my pulse, it was beating very slowly, I could still hear, and feel, but I could not open my eyes.

When I woke up, I was in the hospital, hooked up to the IV. I was tired and dizzy; my neck was all patched up. He was there, right next to me, holding my hand, asleep. The doctor came in and looked distressed; he was holding a clipboard with my vitals. He woke up, and the frown immediately escaped his lips, and turned into a grin. I tried to sit up but he made me lay down. I was in terrible pain. I couldn’t handle it so I screamed in agony. He kissed me again, and once again it’s like the world disappeared, I felt so safe in his arms, I wanted to stay there forever, and before I knew it, I was back in the hospital. The doctor was talking to me, but I wasn’t paying attention. He said something about staying for a week or so, and I immediately objected. Drew squeezed my hand, and he whispered into my ear and told me not to worry, he would be here every day. For the next few days, Drew was an angel, getting everything I needed in a blink of an eye! We had a lot of fun in the hospital, playing cards, watching tv, or just talking. He was mine, nobody could take him away from me, it felt like we were being pulled to each other, no matter what we would always be meant for each other. It almost felt like we were under a spell, or a curse! I was going to find out what our history was together, so I will ask Drew tonight.

Right as I said the first word, he said that it wasn’t important and that all that matters is we are here together!... I was so shocked and scared, “H—How did you know what I was going to say?!” I pulled my knees up to my chest, he tried to touch my hand but I pushed him away. “Sweetheart, I love you but there’s one thing you need to know about me…” I was scared, I fainted.. I didn’t want to hear anymore, it was driving me insane, I thought he was honest with me, I thought he always was. When I woke up, he was there, and the second I saw him, I burst into tears and told him to get away from me. I didn’t want to see him, or be near him. Drew lied to me, I thought we were the perfect couple, but I guess I didn’t understand. He said he was an angel, and that I was too, that we live forever, but why can’t I remember it. He was talking, he said that he was a fallen angel, and when he fell to Earth, he saw me. He told me how he made me forget that he made me an angel so I could live a normal life. I was worked up, I just started balling my eyes out. He grabbed me and held me to his chest and asked me what was wrong? “Y-you... l-lied... t-to... me….
