The BIG Love

The BIG Love

The Big Love
Love is like when you can't decide at a restaurant what to eat. For me, its like that with boyfriends. Doug the super cute tanned surfer with the six pack but girl-mad...James the football team captain, hottest guy in school but as dumb as a million bricks...or Isaac, sweet, hot, clever but a bit too romantic and mystic and moody. I'd have Doug's six pack, James's face and Isaac's cleverness. Perfect! But unfortunately life especially mine, doesn't work like that.

"James! Hey!" I called, grinning at the sight of his cute dark hair and that such ape-like expression. Actually, that's mean to apes.
"Hi um Cass." He grinned back and for one tiny moment he didn't sound dumb, he looked perfect! "Wanna go to Ashley's cheerleading tryouts with me?" Right. Back to normal then. Ashley had curly black hair, big dark blue eyes and a tiny red dress. She looked like a 7th grader with a lot of attitude.
"Hey Cassandra, James has been talking about you." She said. Eurgh, I hate the name Cassandra.
"That's nice James but I really need to go to the beach, get my tan on! I mean I'm so pale!" I grinned fakely at him and gave him a kiss. Ashley made a little giggle and I noticed my purple skirt had rosen up to reveal my pink knickers that had bunnies on. For gods sake. "Oops." I said and strode confidently outside. Damn it!
"How do you feel being humiliated by a 7th grader with a tan better than yours?" Great, Kevin Doyle, runs the school newspaper.
"Yeah, um, her's is fake tan, obviously! Now leave me alone, I'm going home!"
"Thought you were going to the beach and now, I for one was looking forward to seeing you in a bikini." Kevin grinned at me. I suddenly realised he had gorgeous green eyes and black curly hair. He was smart too and hot as hell.
"Hah, I'm actually going home now." I told him. "Headache." He rolled his eyes and strolled off. I ran home, my heart pounding. Then I got out my phone and started to text Doug, Isaac and James.
Hi, I am so sorry Doug, I've met...someone else. I feel so attracted to him. I won't tell you who it is. But I really like him. Love Cassie x
Hi Isaac, I love your poems you sent me but this isn't right. I love another. He is a journalist so very artistic too. Love Cassandra x
Hey James, you can have Ashley now, met someone else. He is so clever and hot and fit and cute. Love Cass x hope you and Ashley are happy together
