Sticking to the shadows isn't as easy as it seems, there's more lingering there than one would think. I've seen some criminals, a couple of CIA agents and occasionally a random person or two, some FBI agents.

My name is Detective, Jenna Green. I look like I am a little over twenty but I'm really one hundred fifteen years old. I worked for the FBI five years before I worked for the CIA, and I was a private investigator before that, as a different person almost sixty years ago. Anyway, back to the story.

The target I'm tracking today, a twenty four year old male, wanted for three murders, drug dealing, smuggling chemicals made by an alchemist into the human world (Which, if they're experimenting and something goes wrong...Well it won't be pretty, lots of humans gonna die.). And about a month ago he shot me! So I'm more or less in this for the revenge, and because it's my job. And the worst part is he's human too! I am also tracking a mastermind he's working for.

The target jumps over the edge of the building. I don't hear a thud or anything that showed he hit the ground. Where could he be? Where did he go....I thought he's human, he couldn't of?

Just then I heard the flapping of wings. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Have they been experimenting on humans too? I thought looking up, only to see the target has wings! Well, that's more trouble, the kids boss is going to get in! He wasn't using them, just running and hopping from building to building.

Taking Dylan (my dragon) out from the hiding place in my bag (he can shrink, so he can hide in my bag) I throw him in the air so he can unshrink. He land's and we take off after the target. After about an hour or so he finally stops. We land about fifteen yards from him.

Sneaking up on him from behind, I hit him upside the head with a club I always carry in my bag. It doesn't knock him out like I hoped it would, but it caught him off guard, it gave me enough time to handcuff him to the nearest post. "Hello agent Green, did you really think I wouldn't notice you following me? Did you really think that bat would knock me out?" "No I simply thought that it would turn into a sword and I could kill you!" I sneered, being sarcastic. I hit the button on my pack that lets the other agents know I got him.

"So tell me human, who are you working for?" I demanded.
"I don't gotta tell you..."
I side kicked him in his ribs. "okay! I will tell you, just don't throw me in jail" he begged.
"I don't know, maybe, considering you shot me a month ago" I snapped.
"That wasn't me, that was Mastermind."
"He's right" A voice said from behind me. It was my boss, head director Sin Burns. "We'll take him now."
"Wait" I pick him up by his shirt collar, and say, "no, I will take him now," walking over to the chopper. I throw him in there, and turn to the pilot, "take him to the trauma center. Have them do x-rays on him! Do not protest! GO! Alright boys," I say turning to the other agents "We have people to catch! Director Burns, do you know if my team is together?"
"Agent Jenna, I swear when I retire I want you to take my place" and with that he left.

Two days later:
I was in the passenger seat of a helicopter, there were thoughts running through my mind. this will be my biggest break in my case, or at least in Detective Jenna Green's anyway. But it's been quiet in the criminal area, and at least it was a case, because nothing happens, now I guess I could always go work in the human world.

"Detective Green, I'm Allie Rouge" A tall dark haired agent said. "We interrogated the target like you asked. we found that the address you gave us is real. Further interrogation found that the smuggling business has grown.

"Okay, Okay I get it. Now is the rest of my team ready? Good, now let's go," I said, taking charge and charging into the room. There was Mastermind and a female with guns drawn at the two. I was starting to read them their rights when the female shot the Mastermind. She looks at me with big round eyes and shouts "I AM THE MASTERMIND" and then shoots herself.
