A Very Special Tree

I am usually a very normal tree. Living in a very secret place where maybe no one knows who I am!!! I am so boring no one wants to be friends with me. I am ‘blank’ in my head; I don’t know what to write, I will never become a writer.

One day a little bird dropped on my ‘head’. She looked so tired that she couldn’t even move. I used my ‘hand’ to lift her up, and I put her under my warm branch. After a few minutes she woke up, she looked so afraid. I told her not to be afraid; I will not eat her. I started to introduce myself, “My name is Mr. LONELY. I am a tree and no one wants to play with me. I don’t have any friends to chat, play …… with me.”

The little bird began to open her eyes with a bit more trust. She uttered a small bird sound, but it was impossible to know what she said. I said, “Sweet little bird, maybe you can be my friend. What is your name?”

Again, the bird looked up at my green, leafy face; all she had for a response was a ruffling of her feathers. I didn’t know what to do then. So I just held the little bird softly. I wanted her to know I would be there to house her little bird babies if she ever decided to make a nest.

“How come you have no friends? You are so kind. I will make you to have more friends! My name is Rona. You wait for me here, I will come back soon!”

Rona went to find all of her friends to meet Mr. LONELY. She invited snake (Lufy), squirrel (Nami), Owl (Zoro), lizard (Chopper)……! When Rona was finished inviting everyone, practically the entire forest was on the way to Mr. LONELY.

Rona thought, “Even though that mean eagle chased me out of the sky, and caused me to land in Mr. LONELY’s branches, I think it was for the best. Mr. LONELY is maybe the nicest living creature I have ever met. Other people should know about him too!”

Snow was beginning to fall on our forest. Winter had been threatening its full effect for many months. Everyone in the forest could feel down to bones that it would be a white Christmas.

All animals decide to decorate Mr. LONELY to a Christmas tree. They went to find the thing to decorate him.

Mr. LONELY was so happy that he wanted to change his name to Mr. HAPPY.
