She'll Never Be Fine... (Part 1 of 2)
Born 1990, F, from Worcestershire, United KingdomYOU TOUCH MY HEART LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW!
Star Trek Fanfic: Torres/Janeway!
Kathryn Janeway was pregnant! There was no denying it; a small, hardly noticeable bump had formed on her usually flat stomach. She tried to hide the facts by wearing larger baggier clothing, she wanted this baby and she wasn’t ashamed of it, but it wasn’t the ideal circumstances to be having a baby. They were stranded 70 years away from earth, alone and unwanted. She had planned the baby, she had had IVF with an anonymous sperm donor from the crew, but nobody knew, but the Doctor of course, that it was for her. She still couldn’t believe it was true, but the Doctor had given her the ‘thumbs up’ when she went for her check-up earlier that day. She wondered if it would look like her, short, slim, brown hair and piercing blue eyes, or would it look like its father, she hoped it didn’t though! She didn’t know who to tell and when! She had no close friends, Tuvok’s health had deteriorated and he became more and more paranoid as the days went by. She and Chakotay were no longer close, after New Earth nothing was ever the same between them. The once lovers drifted further and further apart as the awkward silence expanded.
*BEEP* Her door chime sounded. She quickly smoothed her clothing and sat up straight before she called for the visitor to enter. It startled her as she wasn’t expecting anyone. Neelix was at the door, his shoulders slightly slumped, his face down cast and his eyes empty of love and the usual energy he possessed. Over the few weeks that Kes had gone he had crawled further into a shell of depression which Kathryn was finding hard to crack. Kathryn shot a look of sorrow at her despondent friend, patting her hand on the couch encouraging him to take a seat. He lumbered over, before depositing himself heavily next to his Captain.
“Captain I would like to ask you permission for something…” Kathryn nodded for him to proceed. “I wondered if I would be allowed to throw a party/belated leaving party for Kes. I know she's not dead but I never really got to say goodbye neither did anyone else, I thought we could have an evening when we could just share our memories of her and get together, and we haven’t had a party in ages. Please Captain?” Kathryn smiled as she saw a small twinkle in his eyes.
“Neelix that would be a fantastic idea, it would help us to finally let her go and move on without her, in a good way of course!” Neelix beamed at Kathryn and patted her on the shoulder.
“Thanks Captain! This really means a lot to me! It will be the happiest party ever and lots of food will be on offer!” He almost skipped out of the door! Kathryn smiled knowing it would be a nice occasion for everyone, even those who didn’t really know or speak to Kes.
As the doors shut Kathryn slouched backward onto the couch. She rubbed her slightly swollen belly and couldn’t get over the fact that there was a tiny baby growing inside of her. It was exciting and scary at the same time, she would undoubtedly love her baby no matter what, but she had always imagined that when she was pregnant she would be married, living in a small house with a big garden on earth. Not in a starship, in the Delta quadrant alone! She imagined a tiny brick house, near a stream, at the end of a narrow lane. No cars or anything which could be a hazard to her child. The garden would be decorated with rose bushes and all sorts of different flowers, a small climbing frame for when her child was older and a wooden picket fence enclosing the space. On the door….
She was roused from her dreaming as her comm badge beeped.
“Chakotay to Janeway, could you come to the bridge please?”
“Of course Commander…” she sighed before pushing herself from the comfortable sofa. What could be so important he really needed her to come to the bridge! He was perfectly capable of handling things, he was supposed to be her right hand man, fat lot of good he was. She was about to walk to the doors, but quickly checked her bump was covered by her too big clothes and then made her way to the bridge. She promised herself she wasn’t regretful in her pregnancy she just needed to some time to find the words and courage to tell the rest of her crew. She agreed that if she hadn’t done so already she would tell them at Kes’ party. She walked and stood behind the pilot console, which Tom was sat at.
“Yes Commander?” she questioned not seeing what the problem was!
“There's a small transport ship that has appeared just off our port bow, they haven’t for weapons charged and seem to be badly damaged should we…” Just at that moment a picture appeared on the screen, it seemed to emanating from the ship that had just emerged.
“Harry try to clear it up!” Harry did as he was told and soon a woman was talking rapidly to the Captain. “Please slow down, I am Captain Kathryn Janeway of the federation starship Voyager and you are…?” The woman shook her head.
“There's no time, there are several badly injured people we need immediate medical help for them or I'm afraid they wont make it!” Kathryn nodded trying to keep her emotions in check, in the background there was a clump of people huddle together, away from the massive blood sheet that covered the majority of the floor.
“Right Harry, Tom you're with me, Chakotay beam us down and the Doctor as well please, we can explain to him when we get there, along with a dozen advanced medical kits!” Chakotay nodded and blue lights engulfed them transporting them to the nearby ship.
Kathryn had to place her hands over her mouth to stop herself from crying out when they rematerialized on the ship. The floor was strewn with dead bodies and the floor shone with crimson red blood.
“Tom, order for this to be cleared and have it all beamed straight to the incineration unit on our ship!” Tom complied and started to talk to Chakotay immediately. Kathryn was suddenly pushed toward the group of people; she motioned for the Doctor to follow her.
“Please there is no time to waste she's almost gone,” the old lady that had spoken to her earlier gestured toward a small girl, no older than 12months, writhing in pain, her left arm was completely missing and her body was covered in scratches; some deeper than others. The Doctor immediately set to work as Kathryn talk to the old lady who took her to another man who had been stabbed, Kathryn treated him quickly before moving onto the next patient. After 30 minutes everyone was treated and in a stable condition, Tom had cleared the entirety of the ship of dead carcasses and blood. “Thank you my darling,” The old lady kissed Kathryn’s cheeks.
“Not a problem” Kathryn assured her. “We will start repairs on your ship as soon as I can get some maintenance crew down here. We have also organised for food and bedding to be beamed down. The repairs will take around three days, so we are willing to provide resources for you until you are fit to get on your way!” the old lady thanked her profusely, kissing her again!
“I'm sorry but I was awfully rude, I never introduced myself. My name is Freple, I am in charge of these lovely people, I'm sure they’d all like to get to know you!” Kathryn smiled and then went to speak to some of the other survivors.
Kathryn hardly made it very far when the Doctor called her over. He was still tending to the little girl who had lost her arm.
“She won’t lay still enough for me to inject this hypo-spray to relieve the pain!” Kathryn took the hypo-spray and placed the little girl into her arms. She snuggled into Kathryn's chest, tears wetting the material of Kathryn’s shirt!
“Hey little lady, why all the fuss, this medicine will help you,” she quickly injected the hypo-spray as the little girl had stopped moving, she instantly relaxed in Kathryn's arms. Another few minutes and she was fast asleep, Kathryn stroked her hair, a golden blonde, contrasted by her dark coffee coloured eyes. The aliens were completely humanoid, apart from the spikes on their nose, similar to Naomi’s but much smaller. Freple came over and stroked the child's hair.
“You're very good with children, this is baby Kerala by the way, gorgeous isn’t she? Her mother and father sadly didn’t survive the attack!” Kathryn took the old lad by the arm and led her to a quiet corner where B'elanna had started to make beds.
“What actually happened?” Kathryn question, the little girl, snoring softly, sound asleep.
“We were attacked by a species called the Hirogen, my species, the Poygurts, and the Hirogen have a long history, put it this way we aren’t exactly friends. They wanted our land but we won’t let them have it, they hate that they can’t even infiltrate our borders, they only ever attack us when we’re not on our world. We were only on a short trip to the planet near to us when they attacked us, drove us into open space and murdered more than half of our passengers, there are only 18 of us left, 7 of them children. Poor Kerala, neither of her parents made it.” Kathryn looked down at the little girl so innocent and unaware of the turmoil unfolding around her! She knew exactly the pain and turmoil this poor girl would go through as she too had lost her parents at a young age.
Freple had left Kathryn alone with her thoughts and Kerala; B’elanna had come over to see whether her Captain was ok. She waited for Kathryn to disturb from her dreaming whilst she continued to set up the beds around her. Kathryn was interrupted when Kerala started to fuss. Her deep brown eyes opened wide, glistening with unshed tears.
“Mama? Papa?” the little girl looked around getting up from Kathryn; confused she came back the Kathryn and sat in her lap, wrapping her arm around Kathryn's waist.
“Kerala…?” she waited until the little girl was paying full attention on her before she continued to try and explain why her parents weren’t here. “You're Mama and Papa was hurt really bad by some bad people…”
“‘Rogens?”
“Yes the Hirogens, but they can’t see you anymore because they were too hurt.” The little girl didn’t fully understand that her parents weren’t coming back so just settled back into Kathryn and dropped off to sleep again. B’elanna chose that moment to come over.
“Hey Captain?” Kathryn looked up at B'elanna shocked to see the engineer still here.
“You can call me Kathryn whilst we’re here B'elanna…” she sighed holding the little girl close,
“Ok Kathryn, you alright? You don’t look great, you need some sleep!” Kathryn shook her head, placing an assuring hand on B'elanna's shoulder,
“I'm fine, it’s just… well…” could she tell B'elanna about her baby, yes she could but not here. She felt exposed and Tom or the Doctor could over hear.
“It’s ok you don’t need to tell me, you and Kerala are a cute pair, she's latched onto you, hopefully she won’t become bossy and start ordering me around as well!” B'elanna giggled.
“You watch your mouth Lieutenant! I know where you live!” they both laughed, Kathryn tried to remember the last time she had laughed like this with another member of her crew and felt like it was totally natural and relaxed. Kathryn wrapped Kerala into a blanket and placed her in a cot B'elanna had brought down for her. “Here I’ll help if you want, even if you aren’t very nice to your Captain!” They smiled and quickly got the last few beds finished and informed Freple that they would shortly be leaving to give them some privacy and peace, but would return in the morning to continue repairs.
Back on the ship, Kathryn almost jogged back to her quarters desperate for a shower. She stripped herself of her clothes, covered in blood, sweat and tears. After her long and cleansing shower she made her way to the mess hall ready for something to eat after a long day. She happened to bump into B'elanna who had taken pretty much the same course of action as she had; shower then food! Kathryn invited B'elanna to join her and the lieutenant readily agreed. They ordered and then sat together on the couch talking about nothing and everything.
“So little Kerala seems to have taken to you Captain” Kathryn smiled and nodded happily.
“I'm not on duty you can call me Kathryn if it makes you more comfortable?”
“Ok, Kathryn, you two are so cute together. I was so disappointed when we got stranded here, I don’t know whether you knew this but before we came here I was engaged to get married and we had always talked about starting a family after this one trip. But apparently fate had another path for me! Don’t get me wrong I love it here, it’s just I would love a family.” B'elanna smiled sadly, Kathryn scanned the room quickly, and Neelix placed their food on the table and left for the night. Kathryn saw they were alone and thought it a good a time as any to tell B'elanna about the latest addition to the crew.
“Kathryn are you there…?”
“Sorry I just wanted to tell you something and I wanted to make sure we were alone.” B'elanna hid her shocked expression, why did her Captain want to tell her something? Wasn’t that what first officers were for? She encouraged Kathryn to continue anyway! “Jeez there no simple way of putting it so here goes. I'm umm…. I am….” She got up ready to run if she needed to, she had no idea what B'elanna's reaction would be. It was unlikely she would just brush it off without another thought. There would be questions, suspicions. “I'm pregnant!” she went to walk out of the room. She couldn’t bear to think what B'elanna's facial expression was, what she would say. A Captain shouldn’t be pregnant their first duty should be their crew not… She was stopped by B'elanna's arms, blocking her way like barricade.
She jumped to see B'elanna in front of her. Was she going to give her a lecture or read her morals to her?
“Kathryn..? Look at me you're a crazy lady! I'm not gonna bite your head off!” Kathryn looked at her, trying to hold back the tears, “Congratulations” she embraced her in a hug and then took her arm and lead her back to the table. They sat down before B'elanna started to talk again. “I can tell you don’t want to talk about it otherwise you would’ve stayed, but I don’t know what you expected me to do, I'm not a complete heartless monster! I'm happy for you! But can I ask you one thing, who’s the father?” Kathryn knew this was coming but this was an easy question to answer.
“I have no idea B’elanna; I had an anonymous sperm donor so I don’t know I had IVF, because I'm not getting any younger and I have, like you, always wanted a baby. When we were saved from New Earth, I knew that things between me and Chakotay couldn’t be fixed, but that was good, in a way, I needed a fresh start. Not the ideal circumstances but I'm gonna love this baby. No matter what.” B'elanna smiled happy for her friend,
“You're gonna be a good mother and I did think you gotten a bit fatter, I just put it down to Neelix’s pancakes!” she laughed and dodged a play punch from Kathryn.
“You are a nasty woman B'elanna, one day I’ll get you back…”
They were interfered when Kathryn's comm badge beeped.
“This is Freple for Captain Kathryn Janeway?”
“I'm here Freple what's the problem?” forgetting for a second they had left a communicator in case of an emergency.
“It’s Kerala she won’t settle and she keeps asking for you and your friend with the ridges on her head… do you know who I mean?”
“Yes she means B'elanna, just hold on and we’ll be down there in two minutes.” She ended the communication and looked at B'elanna. “What are we gonna do? I don’t know how to calm down a one year old!” B'elanna laughed.
“You looked like you knew what you were doing earlier! Come on we’ll be fine! Torres to Chakotay could you beam me and Kathryn to our friends ship please, thanks” Seconds later, Kathryn felt a small child attach herself to her leg. She picked her up and saw the little girl had been crying and was obviously not used to only having one arm. “Hey Kerala remember me? It’s B'elanna!” the little girl was too busy hugging onto Kathryn to notice B'elanna. “I'm obviously second best!” she whined playfully!
“No she’s your friend as well, hey, Kerala say hello to B'elanna please,” Kerala looked up and then without warning flung herself onto B'elanna, luckily B'elanna reacted quickly and caught the falling child. “Oh my God Kerala don’t do that again you almost gave me a heart attack!” Kathryn had tears in her eyes and kissed the little girl, she had been frightened by the sudden movement of her little friend.
“Hey she's alright Kath, good thing I’ve got ninja reflexes!” Kathryn smiled weakly glad that B'elanna had got ‘Ninja reflexes!’ B'elanna snaked her arm around Kathryn's shoulders, pulling her in close trying to comfort her, seeing she was still shaking from her shock. She rubbed her back gently and then let her go before making her way over to Kerala crib and tucking her in. Kathryn followed slowly, helping to snuggle up the little girl and make sure she was safe. She soon dropped off to sleep and Kathryn and B’elanna were about to go back to Voyager when Freple suggested they could stay here, so if she woke up they wouldn’t have to go far. They agreed and found themselves some spare beds and put them together near Kerala.
Kathryn was still slightly pale, so B'elanna took her in her arms and sat down with her, Kathryn burst into tears, her emotions getting the better of her. ‘Damn these hormones’ she cursed to silently herself. B'elanna just sat and rocked her gently until she could compose herself.
“I'm so sorry B’elanna; I don’t know what came over me!” B'elanna shushed her, seeing she was still upset and shaking.
“It’s ok Kathryn, I know Kerala scared you when she just kind of jumped, but that’s what kids are like! Crazy, dangerous and stupid! Not because they're dumb just because they don’t know any better and they’re used to people catching them and picking up their mess! But stop worrying now, she's ok and I know it’s your hormones, but I hate to see you so upset, I’ve only ever seen you cry when that message came through from Starfleet.” Kathryn nodded, they hadn’t heard from Starfleet since.
“I'm such a shit Captain!” B'elanna looked shocked at her lack of self-confidence and language!
“Kathryn you're the best Captain I've ever had, don’t tell Chakotay though. You're not afraid to stick up for your crew, give your life for them and you always think about the well fare of other people before your own even if you don’t know them! That why you destroyed the caretaker, because you wanted to save people. You always have cared for us and have pulled us through the thick and thin. Don’t ever, EVER, doubt yourself! EVER! You hear me?” Kathryn nodded, moved by B'elanna's speech which came so deep from within heart.
“Thank-you that was just what I wanted to here!” she smile “Now you complained about my lack of sleep and here you are keeping me awake” B'elanna pretended to be shocked and pointed to herself , before snuggling down next to Kathryn and drifting off the sleep.
Kathryn was awoken by the quiet cry of Kerala, who was next to her; she was caught up in blankets in her crib. Kathryn stood up and picked up the little girl and held her close, trying to quieten her to prevent to her disturbing anyone else. She wouldn’t quieten and Kathryn's eyes filled with tears of despair, what could she do? Out of nowhere B'elanna appeared and wrapped her arms around Kathryn from the back, her arms joining Kathryn's, comforting the squirming child. Once settled B'elanna offered to take the baby. She snuggled into B'elanna's arms and quickly fell asleep. She placed her back in the crib and went to talk to Kathryn who had walked over to where the food had been stored. She had tears down her cheeks and she was trembling. B'elanna took her hand and led her back to bed, snuggling in together.
“What's up Kath?” the older woman shrugged and tried to put off the question. “Kathryn, please tell me why you're upset. Please?” Kathryn turned around and started to speak slowly.
“Kerala reminds me so much of myself.”
“I'm confused…” B'elanna looked at Kathryn, what had she missed, they didn’t really look alike, have the same personality anything; what did Kathryn mean?
“When I was three I lost my mother, father and two younger sisters in a crash. We were on our way to Grety III, when we our engines started to fail and we had to make an emergency landing on Pugthy a nearby planet. Only me and my dad survived, but he was trapped underneath a console and didn’t even make it through the night. They didn’t find me until another 2 days had passed; I lived off emergency rations and melted ice to drink. It was horrible, I know how Kerala feels, at least she's got people around her who love her. Hopefully she's too young to remember this when she's older, I hope so!” Kathryn crumpled into B'elanna's arms, B'elanna's heart bled for the older woman, no wonder she was so tough and never said anything about her family. But she was glad that Kathryn had had the nerve to tell her this. She smiled and they both fell asleep soon after Kathryn's story finished. B'elanna had wanted to say something, but what could you say to that? ‘I'm sorry’ doesn’t quite cover it! So B'elanna said nothing at all.
When B'elanna awoke again it was light and most of the aliens were awake and concocting a breakfast, of sorts. B'elanna grimaced, it couldn’t possibly be worse than Neelix’s could it? Maybe it could! B'elanna saw Kathryn was still sound asleep, she needed it, so B'elanna left her and picked up Kerala to find her something to eat. They had both eaten and Kerala had gone off to play with some of the other small children, so B'elanna decided to check up on her friend, Kathryn. A small sweat had formed on the smaller woman's skin, her breathing was heavy and she was punching out in her sleep. B'elanna reached out to calm Kathryn when Kathryn started to talk, in her sleep.
“Daddy, please don’t go. I'm scared. Nobody's coming to help me. I'm alone. Help me. Please. Anybody? Daddy, Mummy?” The childishness of Kathryn's voice made B'elanna shiver, imagine watching your whole family die at the age of three? B'elanna sat next to Kathryn and shook her until she woke up. Tears shone like diamonds in the light of the sun.
“Not a nice place?” Kathryn just dipped her head, trying to cover the tears that were pouring down her face. It was too painful seeing Kerala, the little girl reminded her of herself so much. At least Kerala had friends who loved her. Kathryn had had no-one. She was alone. Kathryn trembled with her memories and soon found herself inside B'elanna's loving arms. She had never felt so safe in anyone's arms before. She never wanted it to end.
The maintenance crew had beamed down along with the Doctor, who was there to check up on everyone. He saw his Captain crying in B'elanna's arms and ran over to them, having never seen his Captain cry he immediately assumed she was hurt. As he knelt down Kathryn jumped and ran away from B'elanna, ordering an urgent beam up to her quarters. B'elanna glared at the Doctor.
“Is the Captain ok? I thought she was hurt!” the Doctor sounded stupid and embarrassed for interrupting a tender moment between B'elanna and his Captain.
“Dammit Doctor, its take me forever to get her to open up and now you’ve scared her away! Just because you see someone crying doesn’t mean their hurt, we have these things called emotions and when we get upset or have a bad memory resurface we cry. TEARS!” she walked away from the Doctor cursing under her breath, she hadn’t meant to sound so angry, but now Kathryn would become alone again, in her ready room. ‘No!’ B'elanna wouldn’t let that happen, she loved Kathryn and she knew that she wouldn’t be happy alone. She made it her mission to find Kathryn and purge all of her worries.
She beamed directly to the ships transporter room and asked the computer to locate Kathryn.
“Captain Kathryn Janeway is in her quarters.” The computer stated bluntly. B'elanna jogged to Kathryn's quarters and rang the chime before she stopped to think about what she wanted to say.
“Kathryn Janeway wishes not to be disturbed!” The computer spat at B'elanna. So B'elanna shouted through the door.
“Kathryn please let me in! It’s me B'elanna! Please let me in!” She heard Chakotay’s voice through the door and Kathryn's crying. She stood back shocked; she choked on her tears and tripped over backwards. CHAKOAY? Kathryn had said herself, after New Earth nothing could ever happen between them! Why would Chakotay be there to comfort her? She got up quickly and ran to her own quarters. She jumped in the shower not caring to wipe away her tears that cascaded like a torrent down her face. She scrubbed herself viscously and washed her hair before rubbing herself dry. She clambered into bed and cried herself to sleep, she loved Kathryn but now she had Chakotay. That small relationship they had formed over the last few days vanished, like a shadow when the sun dips behind a cloud.
B'elanna woke up to here her comm badge chirping. Who could be calling her at, oh crap! It was 1800 hours; she should have been on the ship to help make repairs, she’d slept for over 12 hours! She clicked her badge and was stunned when she found out who was calling.
“Doctor to B'elanna, please come to sick bay immediately, Kathryn is asking for you, hurry please!” B'elanna didn’t think twice she pulled on her uniform from yesterday and sprinted to sick bay. When the doors slid open she had to bite her lip to force herself not to scream. Kathryn sat on the biobed, bloodied and bruised. Cuts and scrapes danced over her once perfect body. Blood still seeped slowly from a gash on her stomach. The Doctor was still attending to the wound. Kathryn cried out when she saw B'elanna and held out her hand for B'elanna to take. Where was Chakotay she though? That didn’t matter, Kathryn needed her and she was here. She grasped Kathryn's hand, cold and clammy. Sadness played like music in Kathryn's eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks. The Doctor quickly finished his treatment and left a medical gown for Kathryn to put on over her underwear, if she wanted. Kathryn hated feeling so vulnerable and tried to sit up and reach for the gown. She winced and struggled to sit up. B'elanna scooped her up gently and placed her on her lap, sitting down on the end of the bed. B'elanna got the gown and slid it smoothly over Kathryn's body, not wanting to irritate any of the wounds. Kathryn winced as the materiel touched the wound on her belly. She lifted up the gown hating the feeling of the materiel against her injury. B'elanna understood and held up the gown, trying to make Kathryn as comfortable as possible. Kathryn tried to settle down, but couldn’t, sleep didn’t come easily to her. She had too much going on in her mind.
“You wanna lie down Kathryn? You want me to help you get comfy?” B'elanna worried about Kathryn, her constant wriggling’s told her that she wasn’t calm or relaxed.
“B'elanna I'm sorry I really wanted to let you in, I did, I really really did!” B'elanna tried to shush her but Kathryn just cried and carried on talking. “Chakotay came over, he heard from the Doctor that we had been getting along very well on the ship and you had been hugging me and trying to help through a tough time! He also managed to find out about me being pregnant! Apparently being first officer has its perks!” B'elanna really didn’t understand what this had to do with Kathryn's injuries. “He came to see if ‘I was alright’ that’s what he said anyway. But once he was into my quarters he locked the door and tied me to my bed.” B'elanna's anger rose as she saw where this was going, he couldn’t have could he? “And he raped me! He told me if I was going to be pregnant it should have been with his child! He hit and kicked me until I passed out. For all I know he probably carried on until the Doctor came to find me to go back to the other ship, after I didn’t answer his calls! I'm so glad he can override locks.” Kathryn sighed deeply as she finished her story. She sunk into B'elanna's arms and cried as B'elanna found it hard to contain her anger toward her former Captain and respected friend. She couldn’t believe she left Kathryn and she could have stopped him! Why did she doubt Kathryn? Kathryn soon fell asleep and B'elanna placed her down gently to sleep.
She stalked into the Doctors office; she had two things she needed to know off him.
“Is the baby ok?” the Doctor stood up to talk to B'elanna. He nodded and B'elanna breathed out with relief. “Where's Chakotay?” she hissed his name out like it was poison.
“He’s in the brig B'elanna don’t worry. Kathryn will be fine.” B'elanna exploded at him for the second time in two days.
“Fine? FINE! She's may be fine physically Doc but on the inside she's burning up, Kerala reminds her of herself when her parents were killed. Her first officer she thought she could trust raped and beat her up! She's never gonna be fine. Near to, but never the same as she used to be Doc...” A thump from the other room stopped B'elanna's rant and she dashed to Kathryn. She had fallen off the biobed, she tried to get up but the pain stopped her from doing so. B'elanna knelt next to, Kathryn's eyes were full of emotion, she was scared, in pain and just wanted someone she could love and hug. B'elanna caressed Kathryn's face and stroked her hand gently through her hair. Kathryn closed her eyes and moved into the contact. B'elanna smiled, even covered with bumps and bruises Kathryn Janeway was still the most attractive woman on the ship.
“B'elanna please get me out of here?” B'elanna nodded and told the Doctor she was taking Kathryn back to her quarters. He nodded understandably and discharged Kathryn.
She'll Never Be Fine... (Part 1 of 2)(Beki)
YOU TOUCH MY HEART LIKE YOU DON’T KNOW!
