The Cold Scream(Sophie) "Mom, I'm going out with some friend's, I'll be back around 10:30pm." Said Kate as she rushed out the door bumping into her best friend Julia. "Come on kate, Mike and Josh are waiting for us at the side of the river." Julia yelled as she grabbed Kate by the wrist and headed to the river.

"Finally you girl's showed up, I thought you would never." Shouted Mike. "Calm down Mike, we're here now." Julia replied furiously. As Josh interrupted Julia he said "What do you say we go to that haunted house at the corner of Donald street?" "Haha, no way that house is haunted with "Old Man" spirit and no way I'm stepping in that house." Kate screamed. "well, I Guess you're a chicken Kate." Mike sighed as julia started laughing.

Kate decided she would go to prove her point and so she did.

Finally they arrived at the haunted Old Man's house. Mike went up to the porch that was right in front of the haunted house door. "This door is jammed shut, Like it was closed for decades" Said Mike frustrated. "Well, Gosh Mike I wonder why?" Said Kate teasing him.

As josh and julia started laughing Mike got the door open. "Finally!" Mike said with a huge sigh.
Mike stepped away as the door started screeching. The other's could tell he was shivering.
Although he was anxious To step in.
"Mike, I wouldn't go in if I was you." Said Josh with a voice full of fear. "Hey I didn't open the door for nothing, Come on guy's." Julia and Kate agreed as they followed Mike inside. "Wow, This place is sure dusty" Said Julia.
"Go away" "Leave now" "You're not welcomed" "LEAVE" Said a shallow voice. "I'm out!!" Said Kate as The Other's Agreed.

The next day Kate woke up scared as she had a nightmare of the voice she heard. "Mom, I'm going to julia's place, I'll be back after 3 hours." Said Kate as she went to julia's house.

Kate knocked on julia's door. "Hey Kate, Come in. Julia is upstairs" Said Julia's mother as she let Kate in.
"Hi Julia." "Hey Kate, Come on in." Julia answered back as Kate sat on her bed. "Hey Julia, Did you dream about the voice we heard last night?" "No, I didn't. Why did you?" Answered Julia Suspeciosly ."Yes, I did actually. Do you think it's The "Old Man" That we heard?" "Well, The old man died 4 years ago, It couldn't be." Said Julia.

As Kate had enough time with Julia, She left.
"Julia,I'll meet you at donald street at 3:00 pm" Said Kate on the phone, Julia was shocked that Kate would go near that street again but she said okay anyways.

As it turned 3:00 Kate ran out her house door and went to donald street. "Oh,you're already here" Said Kate. "Yeah, Haha. So why do you want us here? Julia said winking at Kate with a big grin." I want to go back in the haunted house and know who's in there." Kate said as she held Julia from the hand and start marching to the front porch of the haunted house.

"Oh, The door's still open." Said Kate as she opened it some more.
The door started screeching but no voice was heard. "Come on." Said Kate as she turned around to take a glimpse of Julia, but mysteriously Julia wasn't there. "AHHHHHHHH" Kate Heard a scream. Hoping it was julia, She started following the scream but yet she felt like she was in the middle of nowhere. "JULIA,JULIA" Kate started shouting Julia's Name. "JULIA WHERE ARE YOU?" She said as she started crying. Kate decided to run upstairs and see if Julia was any where up there. "AHHHHHHH" Kate heard another scream. She turned around as fast as lighting and saw Big Huge Red Eye's. "You didn't listen to what i said. Now you shall hear The Cold Scream of your dear friend." Said the shallow voice that she heard the first time she stepped in the haunted house.

"The Cold Scream." Kate thought of those words in detail. Kate thought this was a joke that Mike and josh set up, So she ran back home and slipped in her bed and slept.

After Kate woke up she still thought this whole time that it was a joke, So she went to julia's to see if she was there. She knocked and knocked but no one answered. she knocked harder but no one opened the door. When Kate turned around she saw Julia's mother crying wearing black. "What happeend Ms. Williams?" Kate said as she hugged Julia's Mother. "The police told us that Julia was missing and that she might be dead." Said Julia's mother as she cried some more.

'This wasn't a joke, This whole thing was real. Could it be my fault that julia's dead?' Kate thought as she started tearing up.

After 3 weeks of Julia's death, Kate thought Mike and Josh had something to do with what happened to Julia. She ran to Mike's house and called him to meet her at the church and she sent Mike to tell Josh the same. Kate waited at the church. "Finally you guy's came" Kate said looking angry. "Well, What is this about?" Josh said as Mike agreed. "Did you guy's have anything to do with Julia's Death?" Kate shouted in their face. "Why would you say that!!" Josh Said "Why would we kill Julia!?" Mike Continued. "I was just wondering." Kate said as she left Mike and Josh behind.

After that Kate never heard of Mike and Josh again and wasn't willing to either. But until now Kate still thinks about what the Red Huge Eye's meant by "The Cold Scream".
