Real Friend's, Fake Friend's, and Love

My grandmother once told me that there are two types of people in this world. The ones that are want-a-be and other's that don't betray their friends and family. There are many types of people with different personalities. I met a lot of nice people and people who take advantage of you and aren't true friends. The majority of people want to be popular and cool therefore they hang out with cooler people and forget about their smart and geeky friends. My opinion is that education is the first priority for people from elementary school till college. You can't be distracted by boyfriend, girlfriends, and friends. If you get distracted by all this how in the world can you become successful in the future? Life revolves around your education just like a house will fall apart without bricks.

When eighth grade started it was going all right. I had good grades and lots of friends. All of a sudden everyone stopped hanging out with me. My friends didn't talk to me as much as they did before, my crush didn't like me that much as a friend. It's like they all made a plan to stop hanging out with me and the sad part is I don't know why they stopped hanging out with me. My best friend since second grade got my crush against me because she liked him and couldn't stand the fact that he liked me more then her. She just wanted to become cool and popular and I'm not that type of girl. I was too busy and involved in my studies. Almost everyday my crush would make fun of me. I don't know why I deserved that behavior from him when we are neighbors and live in the same block. he sent me a message which said "everyone is avoiding you. No one likes you they just hang out with you because they feel pity for you."
I said "like who?"
He said "a lot of people do including me but I'm not going to tell you their names." Later on he said sorry but when someone tells you no one likes you and they're avoiding you it's not so easy to forgive and forget.

I always felt that my little crew of friends didn't want to hang with me they just felt pity for me and used me for their own benefits like homework and project help. Then I asked a really good friend of mine to tell me what's going on. So she in boxed her on Facebook and said
"what's going on, why are you not hanging out with Sara anymore? I know that you're better then that to insult her."

She said "no one likes her, everyone is basically using her. She thinks we isolate her but she isolates herself from everyone. You can't talk to her about anything except studying, not boys or drama. She needs a social life and has to get a normal childhood. Her mind is like a forty year old woman." She said a lot of cruel stuff and I got mad. Not only is she constantly insulting me at school now she's talking behind my back. Whenever Lisa makes fun of me she calls this stuff jokes but they are not. Jokes is when you laugh about something not someone. How many times can she joke around? These are not jokes. it's called bullying and it's very hurtful towards millions of kids around the world including myself.

A true friend will never talk behind your back, flirt with your crush, and tell everyone who you like. I realized if Lisa acts like this, it's really mean and we shouldn't be friends. My best friend chose a guy over her best friend. Whenever you really like someone and they don't feel the same way it's horrible. You always have dreams and day dreams about him/her but it won't happen. No matter how much you try to change yourself to be more suitable for him it's really hard when he looks at other girls with those sparkling eyes, hugs them, and picks them up. It's really hard to see that. Deep down in the bottom of your heart you know when a strong relationship is when both the female and the male like each other. Everyone who feels that way should tell their crush no matter if they are a girl or a boy. It's part of life to be rejected and accepted. Everyone deserves a chance to be happy and find good friends. In life everything is a experience for the future and you learn from it so you don't repeat the same mistake.
