Dying Inside

Dying Inside(Casey White) No one knows that she's dying inside.
She doesn't know how to tell anyone,
They wouldn't understand so instead out comes a lie.
She wonders who could understand but comes to the conclusion of no one.
They barely understand her now.
No one knows that her smile is fake,
Coping with everything - she doesn't know how.
Her barriers are still strong and are difficult for others to break.
She bundles up all the things she may feel,
She's fighting a battle against herself inside,
If others ask what's wrong she says it doesn't matter because its too late to heal.
She locks herself up and puts all her feelings aside,
It's like she's a princess in a tower because of her shell.
She claims it doesn't make a difference to her but she knows she lied.
But wait, she's no princess and her tower is hell.
