My Mother
Born 2000, F, from London, United Kingdom.jpg)
How can a world,
Once so full of laughter and cheer,
Change so suddenly to darkness and despair?
Misery, pain, closer they leer
To battle against your good times and fill them with fear
My Mother
Black and white are the colors that paint the world,
Dark nightmares, around me they curl
Pain and misery coarse through my heart
As I realize we have yet to part
The memories turn me insane
As reality stabs me again and again
Everywhere I seem to go,
There is always the name I so painfully know
My Mother
I have only pictures to remember you by,
The old mum,
Not the sad, unconscious one
The one who once used to laugh and play,
To me a shower of love she used to pay
"My lovely daughter" are the words she used to say
In hospital, unconscious do you lay
My half-brother mourning day by day
Your homely smell is long gone,
Your face no longer shines as bright as the sun
I wish you get better,
How I would give anything for that
My Mother.
Mother Rose.
