Birthday gift

A B'DAY GIFT....
Rahul, a boy having innovative thoughts, of 5th standard, goes crazy about the circus. And expects a circus trip as his b'day gift, the very next day. But his dad ignored his request. He goes to bed happily unknowing his father's intention.

"Get up Rahul, get up" some clean voice said to him. Rahul woke up lazily, expecting it would be his mother, but he was astonished to see a fairy, shining like a spark, very beautiful, two wings white in colour. Rahul's tender mind was in shock. "Hey Rahul, what gift do u expect for your b'day" fairy asked. "Ci...Circus" Rahul said. Accepted, fairy replied and disappeared. Rahul peeped out of the window, fairy was nowhere seen. he again went to sleep soon.

"Get up Rahul, get up" some voice said to him. Rahul woke up, expecting the fairy might take him to the circus, bunking school that day. But it was his mother. He was eager to hear his b'day greeting but his mother didn't. Rahuls mom hurried Rahul to wash room. When he came out it was his mothers shock to him, his boring blue uniform was no more his uniform. There was a colourful shirt and paint, seemed to be a joker costume but Rahul liked those, he didn't know the reason, he just wore it. At the dining table Rahul was waiting for his dad to greet him but his dad didn't speak to him. depressed Rahul rushed into his school bus, all his mates were in the same kind of dress. Rahul was waiting for his friends to greet him but none did it. This depressed Rahul a lot, with down heart, he cheered again after having a look at his school, it looked like a huge circus tent, colourful and amazing.

Watchman was dressed like a joker, giving way for kids. His school is now no more boring, it's colourful and awesome. Huge tent, many rings, so so... Rahul noticed a few seniors performing a few stunts under guidance of teachers. Along with other classmates he went to his class. He now got a clear picture of the situation around him. His school is a circus now.

1st period was Math, in spite of lecture sir taught bungi jump. Rahul was 1st to learn it. 2nd period was Madhavi mam's science class, she taught a few simple magic tricks like making flowers from a kerchief, so so. Next was English, Prativa Rani Saha, she taught ball game and language a bit.......... next social sir taught one wheel cycle and moral science animal behaviour. He enjoyed the whole day a lot but felt a small disappointment that none greeted him for his b'day. He was really upset.

"Rahul, wake up, wake up" some voice woke him, it was his mother. "Happy bday my sweet heart", Rahul hugged his mother. He loved this greeting more than the circus. He enjoyed his dream a bit, but loved this greeting alot. He went to school in his ordinary uniform but felt different. He performed a few stunts he learnt in the dream and became star of the day. Many greetings, lots of happiness, and in the evening his dad took him to the circus, his B'day gift.
