Palmetto Shores Hotel Fun in Myrtle

Palmetto Shores Hotel Fun in Myrtle(Cayla Orns) The hotel we stayed at was very unique. This hotel was beautiful, it had pools, a lot of floors, it was blue, yellow, and white! It looked cool.


We were twenty minutes from our hotel room. We had just got back from a amazing trip to walmart to get groceries for the kitchen. As soon as we got inside I had gotten my baby blue and lilac bathing suit with my shorts. After I said i was ready my sister went and put her two piece on. I thought to myself “why does she always wait till last minute”. When she came out she had a peach and white striped two piece.


In the elevator it felt like forever till we got to the main floor. I then started a conversation.


“I HATE how far the top floor is, it's so far up!” I said.


“Well it is at the top!” As she rolled her eyes in the most weirdest, annoying way.


She is always annoying me. It's like one moment she’s super nice and the next she's all bratty, ignorant, and rude. me on the other hand, i’m nice. I’m also friendly, and cool to her.


When we got down to the pool area my mom was already there sitting on a lawn chair. After I had a chit-chat with her I told my mom that i'm going to the indoor pool. She had mumbled, “ok!”


When i was walking to the pool, I saw a guy that looked like Justin Bieber. He had Justin’s brown eyes, hair, hair style, and height. The only things he didn't have was his body, or tattoos. Then and there I knew it wasn’t him. I was super un-happy.


When I got to the pool I had jumped into the crystal blue water. I thought to myself, “why can’t there be someone my age?”


I kept swimming just like Dory did in “Finding Nemo”, then all of a sudden a girl who looked my age walked up to me in a robotic way. It was hilarious.

“Hey what's your name?” She said in a shy voice, it kind of sounded like a scared cow.

“Cayla Orns. You?” I said in a very nice tone.

“Montana Phillips! Nice to meet you Cayla! How old are you?”

“Twelve, you?”

“Same! Oh my gosh that's crazy!”

“Oh my gosh cool!”

“Lets go swimming!”

“Ok.”

As we were about to jump I told her first one in and back out is the best!” SPLOOSH! The sound of the water went.

“I won!” She said.

“I know.” I said in a kind of angry way.

As we were swimming people were talking about the Lazy River. That's when we decided to go there. As we got to the River we had gotten a tube and rode along with the other one billion people. It was slower than I thought, I said to myself. Then I had gotten my goggles on and got out of my tube. Montana did so after she saw me swimming fast like a Bugatti, but not that fast, a Bugatti goes 267 mph. After a while people got mad because I kicked some people by accident. I got out after people were getting upset. I then went back to the pool and swam.


Montana then came over and said, “I have to go! Sorry.”

“Oh its fine! I had fun!” I said with an upset tone.

“Ok i'll see you tomorrow at 11:00 a.m.?”

“Ok! Bye!”


She walked to the elevator and went on her way. Then my mom came over and told me it was time to go. I said ok. I also told her that we have to be here tomorrow at 11:00am sharp. She had said ok. As we walked to our door I told my mom that i’m tired and i’m going to bed. She had said, well i’ll wake you up when dinner is done. I mumbled ok and walked to my bed, but before that i had gotten in the warm, toasty shower and almost had fallen asleep. I had woken up and finished my shower. After about ten more minutes in the shower i left the oven roasted shower and went to the most soft comfy bed that was fluffy.
