You look at her face and see a happy, intelligent, young girl who looks like she has it all. It appears as though there is nothing wrong, but if you look into her eyes you notice the hurt, pain, anger, and lack of self control. She is this lost girl stuck in a “picture perfect” life.
To escape the guilt, she starves herself, throws up, and digests laxatives like candy to a toddler. She wants to stop and be normal, but fears the judgment that may come her way. Will her family be ashamed of her? What will her mother say? She doesn’t want her to feel like she has done something wrong. What does she do?
She tries to look on the brighter side of things. By surrounding her self with loving friends, she is constantly reminded of all the love she has around her. While trying to gain a new look on herself, she begins to accept and appreciate herself. She also does her best to find alternative ways to deal with her problems. What does she do?
She writes this.
