The 10 Days of Life

The 10 Days of Life(shawonsaha) In the town of Venice there lived a boy whose name was Andrew Bond. He was 13 years old and joined the elementary school when he was 4 years old. He always thought of becoming a detective. One day he shot a ball when he was playing cricket from the roof of his house. He looked down from the roof and saw that the ball had fallen on the roof of his neighbor’s house. His neighbor was a girl whose name was Jennifer. He called her several times but she didn’t respond. He went to that house and called her again but she didn’t open the door. He went up to the roof and found the door of the roof was open. He took the ball and went to his home again and was thinking about Jennifer. He called his best friend and described the whole thing to him and asked for help.

The next day his friend came and went to that house and found the shoe print of someone. Andrew and his friend searched for more clues. They found a cell phone. They searched in the call log and found Jennifer’s number at the top. Andrew took the number on his cell phone and called her. But no one picked up the phone. He called back again but he couldn't get any response.

A person was walking on the road and found the phone. He picked up the phone and called Andrew. Andrew picked up the phone and asked for Jennifer, but the stranger didn't know who Jennifer was and said “Sorry, I am not Jennifer, I am John from Washington DC and I am a detective.” Andrew became happy and gave him his address and told him to come.

John arrived there at 6 O’clock and asked Andrew about his problem. Andrew told him the whole story and asked for his help. Jake, the friend of Andrew, was becoming bored and told Andrew that he was going home and if he finds any solution he should call him. He opened the door and went outside. Suddenly Andrew heard the horn of a car and saw that the car stopped beside Jennifer’s house and saw a person coming out of the car. The person went inside the house and was shouting “Jennifer, Jennifer. Where are you? Come and see what I have brought for you.” He found no response and went up to her room by calling her name. He opened the door and found there was no one. He immediately called the police. The police came and wrote a case for finding Jennifer. After watching all this he told it to the detective.

The detective began to make a plan about finding Jennifer. While making plans Andrew saw the clock and told John that it was the time for dinner. They took their dinner and went to sleep. The next day they both went to the police station and asked for the officer’s help. The officer agreed because he had also began the search for Jennifer. The officer told them he would come along. The officer gave John a revolver. John and Andrew went back to their house. On the next day the officer came to their house. Andrew called Jake to come to his house. When Jake arrived they started their journey. The officer asked for the cell phone that Andrew found at Jennifer’s house and Andrew gave it to the officer. The officer used special software that was made only for police officers for tracking someone.

The police officer tracked that the phone belonged to a male person. He tracked the place where he used to live but he couldn't find it. But he got the name of that person. He called his partner, Adam, who was a great engineer. He said, “Adam, use your tracking device and search for a person named William.” Adam replied “Ok. I am searching.” “Oh! I have found it.” The officer asked “Where is he?” Then Adam replied “He is in Rome.” Then the officer said, “We should quickly go there and Adam keep following him.” They went outside, called a Taxi and started their journey to Rome.

They reached there at 4 O’clock and went to a hotel to stay and to take their lunch. At 6 O’clock they went outside the hotel to search for William. The police officer called Adam and said “Where is William and where is he hiding?” Then Adam replied “He is at 63/2 New Road, Rome.” Then the officer said “Thanks Adam and we must go to 63/2 New Road.” After that they called a Taxi and went to 63/2 New Road. After landing there the officer tracked for William and he found him at Chiang Rai Restaurant.

They went there quickly and found William. Andrew asked him “Where is Jennifer? Tell me quickly.” Then the man replied “Who is Jennifer? I don’t know anyone named Jennifer. Who is she?” Then the officer became angry and showed him his gun and asked him again “Where is Jennifer?” After that the man became afraid and said “A man named Lyle kidnapped her and took her to 89/2 Old Road and put her in the store room in his house.” Then Jake said “We should go there in a rapid speed before Lyle does something to her.”
They called a Taxi and again started their journey. Suddenly in the mid road they got in a jam. But somehow they reached there and began to search for Lyle’s house. After searching for 3 hours they found it but when they were about to go inside, a dog came by barking loudly. Then a man came out from the house and asked them who they were. They asked “Are you Lyle?” The man replied “No, I am Mack. Why do you need Lyle?” John said “Do you know anything about Lyle?” The man replied “Yes, but what do you want to know about him?”

John asked him “Do you know where he is?” Mack replied “Yes, he is now in Venice.” They went there quickly and started searching for him. They asked many people but none of them knew where Lyle was. Suddenly they found a person whose name was Jack and told them that he was a friend of Lyle and Lyle is in his house. They told him to take them to his house. They reached his house at 5 O’clock in the afternoon and found Lyle lying on the bed. John woke him up and asked him where was Jennifer? Lyle didn't want to say at first but when John slapped him hard on his cheek and showed him his revolver he told them everything.

They told Lyle to take them to Jennifer. Lyle took them where Jennifer was imprisoned. John unbound the ropes on Jennifer’s hands and all of them went out of the house. John gave Lyle to the police. They went back to their house and Jennifer’s father was very pleased to see his daughter back home. He thanked Andrew and others for bringing her back home. He gave a party for them the next day and they all enjoyed the party very much.
