Ms. Williams CLASSROOM

By David
Born 1989, M, from TN, United States
View Author Profile

ONE DAY I WAS IN MS WILLIAMS CLASS AND SHE WAS THERE. I WAS SET FOR THE HOUR UNTIL IT CAME TO THIS TIME OF THE DAY... SO WE WERE SETTING UP FOR CLASS AND I HAD OPENED MY LAPTOP, ON TASK AND FOCUSED, UNTIL.... THE ROOM WAS QUIET AND I HAD O IDEA WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I TURN AROUND THERE SHE IS, LOOKING STRAIGHT AT ME LIKE IF I HAD KILLED THE FAMILY CAT. I HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG BUT THIS WAS SIMPLY THE BEGINNING TO A LONG TERM BATTLE, WHICH I AM DETERMINED TO WALK OUT OF INTACT. HER ASSUMATIVE WAY IS WHAT HITS HARDEST AND THE FACT THAT SHE IS...SOMETHING ELSE. SO FAR HER IMPRESSION IS SLIGHTLY ROUGH. OUR KNOWLEDGE ON HER IS PETITE BUT HER CHARACTER SEEMS TO PORTRAY MORE THAN AN INTRODUCTION COULD. SO THE BATTLE IS A DAILY PROCESS NOW AND THE REASON IS LESS. ITS EITHER I ATTEMPT TO ASK A QUESTION, IN WHICH A TEACHER IS ASSUMED TO ANSWER, SHE SIMPLY GESTURES IT DOWN. WHEN YOU WANT TO SIMPLY HELP SOMEONE ELSE, LIKE A GOOD FELLOW PEER WOULD, SHE CALLS YOU OUT AND YOU ARE IN DISBELIEF THAT SOMETHING SO SIMPLE AND BASIC IS NOT ALLOWED. THE TEACHER SEEMS TO IN A WAY BE MORALLY CONFUSED WITH HER JUDGEMENT BUT DOESNT WANT TO EXPRESS IT. SUDDENLY WHEN SHE IS HAVING A POINTLESS STARING CONTEST WITH SOMEONE, WE ARE THE ONES TO BLAME FOR THE TIME LOST. LIKE REALLY? -_-

Interesting read David. Not sure what the deal was with that teacher.
